  2. I can get the measurements but i need a builder to tell me what measurements to be lookin for so ill know which way to go for crank and pistons and getting the head cut for a 4mil. Im gonna use mull for the head for sure and would like Jeff at fast or wildcard to advise me on measurements. I could find the info online but would rather hear it from a known builder.
  3. I have a set of stock cylinders that have some awesome port work but they were ported for a 4mill says the guy i bought them from. He's famous for being full of crap and before i spend money on a crank and pistons Ide like to confirm what the measurements are for a 4mill or how i can tell. I plan to have a stock head cut if its a 4mill and would like to know what it cost to get one cut for a pump gas engine. I plan to use a long rod crank if its a 4mill. thanks

  7. I just bought a set of stock cylinders with some awesome port work but they were ported for a 4mill set up. The seller said they would run fine with a stock stroke or a 4 mill crank. What can i expect from them on a stock stroke?

  9. Those are stock vm 26 mikuni carbs with the TORS units still on them. The float pin is designed to come out in a certain direction and should be tapped lightly when removed. Ditch the TORS as soon as possible including the switch in the thumb throttle housing and the box beneath the fuel tank.

  11. you could use a 40 pilot but i would try 30s first.
  12. I would start at 300 on the main and 30 on the pilot, youll be close ide bet.
  13. Im fixin to be replacing some VF2 petals. Ill hit you up when i do, TDR sounds like a deal to me.
  14. You can go to the jetting forum and see that your jetting numbers were abnormally rich compared to most with the same set up.
  15. My bike runs perfect and plug chop is spot on. Bigger carb = smaller main jet, I was running 330 main and 30 pilot with the stock carbs. My plugs were perfect with the jetting.
  16. I would say youll wind up between 330 and 350. with a 30 to 32.5 pilot.
  17. I just put some 32 tm carbs on a dune ported stock stroke stock cylinder bike with 21 cc domes. I wound up with 290 mains and 30 pilots, im on the coast at sea level and could get by with a 300 main but it runs best with the 290. I had 40 pilots to start and they did fine but i had my screws 2 1/2 turns out and wanted to run them at 1 1/2 so i dropped to 30s.

  20. Would agree with AK on all that.
  21. Try to find a rolling chassis so youll have most of the bolts and other hardware your gonna need. If you build from scratch its gonna be a lot of trouble to find all the bolts,nuts,spacers and other things. Then find a complete engine in need of rebuild, after plenty of research choose your engine build and go from there. There are plenty of builders around and probably someone in your area too. banshees have been around a long time and have a large following, so with some research and patience you can build whatever you want without breaking the bank. I would recommend a stock cylinder 4mill with some port work and 32-35mm carbs. That set up will be plenty for trails if tuned wright.
  22. Stock 200 is too lean for your mods, your probably a touch rich with 300 but thats ok. Ide start at 300 and jet down if needed.
