  1. Ya at 400 a pop it's not something you can go back an redo, they will look good tho, you going to make her bike a rocket to?
  2. Looks real good man, that swinger sets it off nice.
  3. Are u using fresh gas or could it be old, I made the mistake of leaving gas in there for about 3 months, and the bike ran like shit, I had to clean tank, lines, and a real good carb clean and that fixed the issue. You would be surprised how easy it is for these to get gumbed up. Good luck to you.
  4. Get an out of state sticker, my 12 yfz an my 04 banshee both have Oregon atv permits on them, we make a trip up there every year, every 2 years I get a new sticker, the cool thing is a sticker up there was $10 maybe a dollar or 2 more, I dont know how long your staying but you will soon find out Cali does anything to screw you an registering ohv is a big one. If your going to be close to Glamis abuse it, place is awsome, only other place i think gives it a challenge is St. Anthony. But be safe man theres some stuff out there that can get you into some trouble.
  5. Like savage said, organization is KEY!! Don't sweat it though, pretty easy just take your time and follow the manual.
  6. $280 pretty good deal. My frame and other parts was about $450. I had a lot of parts done tho.
  7. Well when I first read this it seemed like an exact problem I was having, after the biked warmed up it quit for a while. Bought a new cdi box an there was the problem. But after finch caught on now your on to fuel problems. IF ur sure its fuel related then try this, When you put the bowls on make sure the floats dont rub on the sides, one of mine rubbed ever so slightly and was stopping flow to the carb. Good luck.
  8. Nice looking bike man. Lighter blue but I think it's gonna turn out really nice. Is that another build in the garage I see.
  9. Pull carbs and reeds all apart and do a good clean.
  10. Do you have brake fluid in it, try bleeding it, usually if it push's all the way down there is air in there and the fluid isnt getting to the caliper.
  11. I have seen a couple PC carbs, Looks pretty good, don't know if I'd paint tho.
  12. Dont know if I would drill, spend a little cash and do it right. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mikuni-OEM-Low-Speed-Pilot-Jet-Banshee-M28-1001-27-5-/170673235101?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27bceae49d&vxp=mtr Im in cali and these got to me in 2 days. Good luck
  13. I have seen a guy on a yfz run low-mid 4's. Have no idea what he had done to it but it was enough to impress me, I agree 4-strokes have came along way but as you guys say there gunna have to do quite a bit more to compete with the light weight and tunability of the 2-strokes. That outlander is pretty badass tho I will say.
  14. We might be up there Halloween, always a blast.
  15. I run them in everything I own. NO I'm not saying there better at all, like said above I also have yet to fail one and my girls bike has had the same plug for about a year now, even after the 're-build. Just comes down to if you want to spend a little extra on plugs.
  16. Alright I will be ordering them soon. Thanks for the info guys.
  17. Thats what i was thinking, no sense in spending the money on something that good give me trouble. Thanks for the info man.
  18. I was going to get the 28 PWK's but saw alot of people buying the OKO as they are very similar carbs, are the OKO's a knock off of the PWKs, I mean I have always used the Keihin or mikunis on my other machines so Iwill probably stick with the PWK's just wondering if the OKO's are decent or will the just lead to problems?
  19. I'm in the market for some aftermarket carbs, there going on the girlfriends bike so all it has done is FMF system, stock bore, k&n pods, an of course jets but I'm sick of the stock carbs, there old an I feel like getting new. The cylinder an head will be getting sent into HJR for dune / play port and stock milled head (he recommended) . I have done a lot of searching but I don't want to get to big of a carb. Anyone have some suggestions.
  20. I had the same issue on mine. Ended up being CD I box, like stated above. I have one I'm getting rid of if your interested. A good stock one. PM me if you are interested. Good luck.
