  1. Ok, I just wanted to make sure. I would hate to spend the money and have that kind of result. Looks like I will be buying new a-arms. Thanks
  2. Axle still available?
  3. I hear when you powder coat stock a-arms it screws the ball joints up melting the plastic an rubber. I was told by a guy on here that they cant be replaced. Anyone experience this or can they be replaced, Im not home for a couple days and cant look at them? Thanks
  4. Here is a link to it. http://www.procomeng.com/index.php?view=catalog&cat_id=1&brand_id=2&model_id=44 \ Model - PE-C-AY350B-A It was given to me when I bought my quad and finally did some research on the thing and would like to put it in. My question is has anyone had any experience with these. It says "plug in an go" and that I can "select 9 different maps. How do I switch maps? Worth it or sell it?
  5. Nice welds, I have been tigging for 5 years now. Pipe mainly. Tig root stick out. Always nice to see others work! You weld for a living?
  6. If i see any light. I replace them, unless flipping them over works. Better to be safe then sorry.
  7. 12's still for sale. Whats the height on them?
  8. Love how you left the handlebars bare. Looks awsome!
  9. I will look into those plastics thanks for the heads up. The frame should be done this week. Ill post pictures as soon as I get it. I hate waiting. Worst part.
  10. I emailed the guy and got a special on 2.. . Ones going on mine and one is going on the girlfriends shee. Hoping for good results.
  11. scroll over the picture and copy the "image" code. Then paste it into the reply box. Link wont work anyways.
  12. Just got of the phone with kevin at HJR. Nice guy and filled with alot of info! Ill be shipping the head out to him within the week. Decided on the dune port along with milled head. With everything I have for it he said ill be wanting to ride my girlfriends shee over mine . Heopefully we can pick the frame up thursday or friday, im anxiouse to get this thing rolling!
  13. Going to be a dune quad. Maybe a couple drags but nothing major.
  14. Alright well white it is. She saw the maier white carbon fiber and said that was it. For the motor i dont want to go extreme. She likes the power it has now and doesnt need much more. I was going to get new pipes, i did tors eliminator already, cool head, re-build top end, and some reeds. I already went through the trans and fixed it and crank had no play or wobble in it so i think i will leave that. What do you guys think for motor? Any thoughts.
  15. Id like to see a full picture of the quad, did you get matching rear fender in white carbon fiber?
  16. Tare Down:
  17. Took us a night to strip it down. Frame is already gotten blasted and now in powder coating. Since she said she wanted to choose everything that had to be done with the quad I agreed on doing the project to see what kind of machine she had in mind. I think you guys will be surprised. For the powder coat she went with a tropical teal with a bit of flake in it. Now the frame is getting done we cant figure out what color plastics to go with. White or Black. 3 colors in the quad when its finished. Teal, black, and chrome. She wanted to know what you guys thought about plastic color. O and I will be posting pictures of the build, if everything goes to plan its going to be a pretty cool looking bike. Let us know what you guys think..
  18. I didnt think it would look good reading the op. After seeing the yellow one, damn, doesnt look bad at all. Post pictures if you do it.
  19. So I tore into my carbs. No signs of dirt but still tore everything down and is sitting in carb clean. Only thing I noticed was my jets were almost a dark brown or almost a light black. I assume this is dirt or is this just from the race fuel. I cleaned them either way , just curious. My question is this. I live at 2600 ft elevation, I ride in coos bay oregon "sea level". Sand mountain "5000 ft" and winnemucca "little over 5000 ft". My jet setup is same as I got the bike. The guy said it was jetted for sand mountain..? Main Right side: 172RD Main Left Side: AB172 Pilot: 58 both sides Fuel Mixture was 2 out on right side and 1 1/2 on left Both mains are 172 butt different ways?? Normal? Let me know what you think.
  20. Plugs are brand new along with fresh gas.
  21. They are aftermarket carbs. Both to appear the same. That was next step to pull them off and go through them, I etched a "L" and a "R" in each one so I know they go back on same side. The left hand side exhaust is very very wet, like running out of the silencer wet but right side is dry as all get out. I guess start at the carbs and work forward from there?
  22. Not sure what your saying. Normally when something runs out of fuel or gets low you put more in it... right? Or am I missing something?
  23. Having a few problems with my 4 mill. It fires up and idles perfect. As I rev it in neutral it seems kinda sluggish an takes a while to reach the high rpms. When I ride it, the low end is not bad but as I go to get into the powerband it cuts out and seems as if it is only running on one cylinder. On the left side cylinder it smokes like a chimney and the right side is clean. When I bought it the quad ran great and had great power. As I ran out of gas I went and bought my first 5 gallons of 110 Sunoco and mixed at 36:1. This is what the guy before me said he ran it at. Any help is appreciated. A few things come to my mind: Timing? Carb syncing? Piston or rings? Just seeing if anyone has seen this or experienced this to get me leaded the right way. Thanks
  24. Says in the description, "We highly recommend models with a 12V battery. This kit may not work if your model does not have a battery. Some models may also require upgraded stators for optimial operation." Little bit of reading goes a long way, obviously a battery is required.
