Check for wires that could have melted from the exhaust. check all connectors make sure nothing is pinched. Best bet is to pull everything off so you can see and inspect the whole harness.

I think the current market especially for 2 strokes has deminished bigtime. I remember when you couldnt touch a modded 250r for less than 4500. Least out this way. Even the used 4strokers arent reselling very well. My buddy just picked up an 08 honda 450 built for $1900. Think nobody wants to pay bigtime dollars anymore. Thats why you can make more money on part outs.

Check the the thread refinishing plastics a couple down from this one. Its a lot of sanding and buffing.

Think you can use a stock YFZ reg/rect.

Duh I wasnt thinkin that the stator is putting out AC. See if this helps. DC conversion

Are you going to ground the frame from the battery as well? I think you would want to if your gong to try and charge the battery with the stator. According to your print it should work.

My break in usually consists of running through the gears around mid RPM for about 45mins to an hour. Good idea to retorque your cylinder and head nuts after you had some heat in the motor.

I disagree. I never had a problem with ECA. But I never had them build a motor for me. Just boring and port work. They always had what I needed as far as used or new parts go. As far as building race engines, I have no idea what they are capable of. I know they have some nasty machines in there shop tho. I didnt think Dave ripped me of for anything. Always cheaper than what I could find on the internet.

The pipes look ok going past the motor than look like shit from the fender to the motor. Looks clean tho. Good luck!
