Im playin around with the same setup. You can mix in pump gas with race fuel to cut cost. The lower cc dome the hotter your engine will run depending on your riding style with race gas. Im going +4 with 19cc domes mixing race with pump. Didnt check compression yet but should be above 150. I used to just put in any old gas but now iam playing around with higher compressions. Iam no expert but this is what iam trying.

try a mapp gas torch. Dont heat up too much that it heats up the studs. I heard dripping candle wax over the threads works too. Never tried it tho.

Can find them on Egay sometimes for cheap. Usaully not the 1080 one tho.

I cut it all out but you dont have to. Just unplug everything and tie it up out of the way. Unplug the little black box under the left side fender. Then you have to buy the tors delete kit which should include the throttle cable with new carb caps and idle screws that you have to install in your carbs.

I would. But I think the main goal of the outwear is to repel water. Still good to keep on. I ran it when I was up at sliver lake. Better to have a $12 dollar outer wear on than rebuild a motor.
