  1. Really nice job wish I had a boat for you. Hope you get a good price.
  2. Sea level with your setup should be 300-320 mains stock 25 needles mid clip. No race gas just 93 unless you set it up with 160+ compression or timing +6 Colder weather might change the jetting
  3. Maybe check you tube for banshee tuning to give you a visual on how to do it. You might do a leak down test to see if something else is wrong. But I'd clean out the carbs and give new plugs. The 1.5 turns on the mix screw is not for min idle it is a blending of the gas between idle jets and needle setting. You said the banshee won't idle and you have to give it gass or she dies. But is the idle low? Figure out how to raise the idle so it will not die. 1 if you have tors caps the idle is in there 2 if you can just raise the idle at the throttle cable 3 if the tors is removed( do this soon if not ) then adjust the side screw in each carb. If there is none then adjust the cable going in the top Please use photobucket and copy the img code and paste in you thread so we can see what you see. Lots of google research will also help you
  4. A carb synchronizer will help I think fast sells them.
  5. Are you going to do your helmet?
  6. Huge improvement ! If you have a Craigslist near by or a harbor fright you can get a buffer and polish those stingers. Or elbow grease and mothers polish can get it too
  7. Any more of the turbo build?
  8. I helped my brother do it and we made new lower mount to restore the ride hight. My Yfzshee has yfzr shocks 18.1/4 I thought they would have been better than Yfz shocks 14.1/2.
  9. It will be a waste of gaskets & possible interference
  10. Port it or dyno it to prove us wrong then port it. All banshee"s get ported at some point.
  11. If the cylinders are just wore you can bore 9 times I think on stock cylinders.
  12. In cali I have a DMV phone number I can call and ask questions. Or just get the vin # and check with them for fees and if it is stolen. Its going to be cheaper in the long run if you find a bike with good pipes ( CPI or shearer ). And good suspenison ( with ball joints and shocks brand name works or pep or elka or fox ) And the motor needs to have compression 125 psi or better and sound good. Getting the motor check by a pro is a great idea. This bike on Craig's should be around 2200-3200 with current title and tags. If you buy all this separate the suspension startes at 1200 and pipes 650. Their is sooooook much more but this is the basics. If you see some, post the pics ( so we can input) with photo bucket by pasting the img code only. Very simple by phone or CPU And welcome to banshee hq
  13. Maybe the front try a jig saw and do a flame cut so you still have a mud flap / fender
  14. Spark plug clearance could be an issue if the motor is mounted high mine is good It doesn't ride like a banshee and the rear linkage resist wheelies. No over heating in glamis btw I love mine I feel it is a huge improvement for riding dunes. Before 6 gear felt like I was ongoing fast now I want to go faster every thing feeles more stable. Befor I had a long travel banshee.
  15. I'm not sure what product to use pipes and carbs but for a trail motor the idea of your mid range starting sooner and still getting good top end results in more total hp to the ground. Pipe builders have always been developing a high peak hp( shearer CPI Ect ) I bet that a good dyno guy could prove my point and recommend a good pipe that ramps up sooner and you my only lose 3 hp peak between 8k and 9k.
  16. I forgot the ceramic or very low fiction wheel bearings
  17. That maybe I'm just remembering somthing from Yakkey racing.
  18. The bansheeinator ( f and ferb reference )
  19. Shearers or CPI or snipers will be the pipe choices. Have you considered a sneaky Pete nos system? Or straight cut gears( worth alittle hp)? Also a duneable overide is super fast because you will not have to let off the gas but it is a trail bike the maybe a end cut tranny mod some ppl speed shift and don't touch the clutch and only let off alittle. Somtimes spending money on hooking up good is worth it because you will put more hp to the ground. Also make the bike/rider on a diet Blend your gas Non o ring chain Perfect jetting Since you will ride mud cut part of the air box off and add circle filters near the bottom of the box next to filter Get compression little higher Skilles are cheap Cdi box that revs higher
  20. I hope you try to help this guy at some point Don't use starter fluid.
  21. Not mine just like this pic When you make this mount try to get more clearance for bigger pods I run lower mounts
  22. Took a year but I learned to post pics today
