  1. Welcome to the HQ. Let the addiction begin
  2. If anything else, if you have an extra set of plastics (some do some don't) just swap them out. Like already stated in this post, once you take the plastic off it's just another modded banshee. If it were me I would just hang on to it. It isn't costing you anything to let it sit and it's a great looking bike. I think later on you would regret selling it. Good luck with your decision.
  3. Pretty sure this guy answered your question correctly. It will look like it is leaking from the bolt, but the coolant is actually leaking by the o-ring and running down the hole in the middle of the cases down onto the bolt. I've ran into this problem before. I only knew it was leaking because I had the bike parked on concrete.
  4. I don't know how I missed this, but that thing looks awesome! I would have never thought of doing something like that. You did a good job with what you were trying to accomplish. Looks cool as hell I like it! Definetly creative
  5. Thanks for the info. 5150 I appreciate it. Those white plastics of yours he did look really good. There is alot of good contrast between white and black. Great looking bike
  6. ok, I have to ask. On the orange bike with the flames. I assume VJ did the seat? Also, on the lock-out cover, was it PC gloss black or bought that way? All of those bikes that have been posted in this thread look damn good. Nice work
  7. Glad to see there is still good/honest people in the world. Nice eye Tedder
  8. Why don't you just powder coat yours? You can powder coat over chrome I believe?
  9. When I say the word "dominated", I mean that the bike isnt even in production anymore and is still kicking ass and taking names and has been doing it longer than any sport ATV produced. Yes, the suspension sucked and in stock form they aren't all that great in the HP department. My point being they are one of a kind and it is best to leave them as they were. Don't fix shit that isn't broke kind of thing. It came, is saw, it conquered......... with some help from the aftermarket haha
  10. The banshee is and will forever be one of the greatest sport ATV's to ever be produced. It dominated the market for 19yrs with little to vertually NO changes. It died with dignity and respect, let the bitch rest on a good note. It would kind of be like brett farve coming out of retirement for the 20th time. He was better off retireing a green bay packer with a better image and higher respect.
  11. Over boring is not going to add horsepower on a 2-stroke. If you wanna go faster, look into porting and adding an aftermarket cool head (pro-design, chariot performance, NOSS) to name a few. Obviously, a 4mm, 7mm, 10mm, ect. aftermarket crank is going to add horsepower also but just remember this. All of these parts need to work together. Don't just go throwing shit at it and "think" it will work. If you aren't mechanically inclined and have a few extra dollars to spare, call a site sponsor and discuss what you are doing with the bike and they will put together a motor packege that will suite your needs.
  12. This isn't a fucking pipe debate. Stay on topic. Zilla is clearly a shearer nut swinger. Ignore his pointless remarks.
  13. Just spoke with doc and ordered me up some front struts. Very nice guy to speak with. Looking forward to getting my struts in time for Septembers race in Atoka. Thanks Doc and Stellar Machine.
  14. Run the stator in the second pic. with the adjustable timing plate in the third pic. Also, if you have a Ohm meter and a clymers manual, check the resistance readings on the stator you choose to run to make sure it is within spec.
  15. Free bump for a real nice setup. Would love to bring it to Oklahoma. GLWS
  16. My current setup. Sorry for the shitty pics. But I didn't want to roll it out of the garage. Pro-taper 1 1/8 bars. CR High bend. I just went through this same problem. I had no clue what I wanted so I just said screw it and tried something. The cr high bend is the same bend as an "atv low" according to RMATVMC. They were to low for my liking so I just rolled them up a little bit. Got rid of all BS on the bars and just ran what I needed. I'm real happy with the ODI grips also. I hope this helps
  17. That's a good lookin bike. Props to your buddy haha
  18. x2. Black wheels look good almost anything. Especially the special edition bikes.
  19. I bought an oversized aluminum radiator off of brian and he was a pleasure to do business with. Great communication from the beginning and provided a tracking number the very next morning as promised. Shipping was very fast with ZERO problems. The radiator looks brand spankin new and you couldn't have beat the price. Great guy to do business with. Thanks again Brian
  20. Craig is a super nice guy and takes great care of his machines. GLWS BUMP for a good dude and bad ass bike
