  2. I have toomey t5s with k&n airfilter stock air box with boysen power reeds and I'm at 280 main stock pilot 1.5 turns out and I'm on the 4th clip down, don't kno if its right really tho cause I just put the reeds in haven't had a chance to take her out yet
  3. I'm not sure I'll look when I get home I was just assuming they were fouled because it started running like it did right before I changed them and the ones I took out were fouled. Is their anyway I can see if it is the stator besides putting a new one on and seeing if it helps
  4. Not jetting it will foul em that quick, I knew it wasn't good but I didn't think it would foul them out that fast. I kinda thought it would be jetted too lean after putting exhaust and k&n on it. I thought I would need more fuel with more air flow and exhaust
  5. I just put exhaust and an air filter on my bike and it fouled the plugs in a minute or two just idling and they were brand new plugs I just put in yesterday, I'm not sure why it would do that any ideas

I figured out what the problem was without sending it to the shop and I'm embarressed to say that it was just fouled spark plugs after I cleaned my carbs so all problems are fixed except I messed with the screws on top of the tors box and it sounds like my right side carb is putting more fuel in the motor than the left side. I am trying to find the best deal on a clymers now tho but thanks for the help everybody
  11. No but I did soak my whole carbs in gas to get all the crud off the outsides before I cleaned the insides. What do I do if the floats are full of gas

I went from stock everything to full toomey t5 exhaust, boysen power reeds, and a k&n airfilter and I kno what the dynajet instructions say but it doesn't say anything about if I have after market reeds just exhaust and air filter does anyone kno if I will have to use a different jet than what they recommend with the filter and exhaust because of reeds or will that even make a difference

If your slide is the circle thing that comes out when you screw the top of the carb off I couldn't have put it in backwards because it had a slot in it and their is a little thing in the carb on the wall that it slides down into so you can't put it in backwards but that is the only thing that I took out and I didn't adjust anything else just sprayed the entire thing down with carb cleaner
  18. I took my carbs off and it is running like shit and smoking and I need to figure out how to set the float height please help

Not the 28th exactly just around then, my buddy travels painting water towers and he said he was gonna be in town around then so it would probably be the weekend before that but my banshee isn't running right now I cleaned the carbs out and when I put em back on the shee is smoking real bad and it feels like it has about half power and I have no clue why because all I did was clean the carbs with carb cleaner
  21. I don't kno how to set the floats and I haven't gotten a clymers yet
  22. It is white smoke and it comes out of the right side more than the left and I made sure to put the needles back in the carbs they came out of

I got the original problem fixed it doesn't bog out and die now but it has started smoking and it runs like shit and seems to be not revving as high or fast what could that be, could I have knocked the carbs out of sync cause I took the tors box out with the carbs or could it just need adjusted from cleaning it out. I didn't do any adjustments on it just took the jet out and sprayed carb cleaner thru ir and sprayed it all over the carb and in it
  24. Yeah I know that, I fixed the problem though so its not really that big of a deal.
