I'll be there if I get my cylinders back by then, sent em out to have fast bore them and port them
-
Mine did the exact same thing and it was my compression so you may want to check that out before you take it to a shop. I'm having mine bored and ported now and rebuild it.
-
Does anyone know the compression should be for stock cylinders

What state is this happening in -
My buddy will be driving bu we will have a old quad my banshee and a jeep pulled by a gray f350 dually, we usually park back by the big motocross track
-
Mine isn't running 100% but I'm going anyway before I gotta start working 7 days a week
-
Me and a few of my buddies are going to haspin this Sunday figured I would see if anybody else could make it so let me know
-
My quad has fuel puddling in the boot that goes from the air box to the back of the carb what does that mean
-
The fuel comes out of the overflow tube and when I take the bowl off the gasket doesn't come out its in there pretty good
-
My jet kit didn't come with a new pilot jet and one of my floats are sticking or I'm assuming that it is cause the left carb will pour gas out if my quad is off and gas is on but I am going to see if the new caps fixes the idle problem and go from there. I have 270 mains in and it is on the second clip down with the stock pilot at 1.5 out but I have a question when they say the pilot should be 1.5 out is that one full revolution and half or is 1 really a half a turn
-
I looked on bing.com for a float valve and float and no websites popped up that sells these does anybody kno where I can get these cause my float sticks on my right carb and I have had mine all apart and cleaned a few times and it still sticks
-
Does nobody have pictures or what, I don't have a license and couldn't go and I don't have the internet I get on here with my phone and can't watch those videos

Ok so I put my quad in the shop last Tuesday and the guy hasn't started on it yet so I'm going to try and fix it myself. It has been running funny since I got it, the guy I got it from said it had sat and the carbs most likely just needed clean and adjusted so I cleaned them and it still ran like shit on the bottom end ran fine wot then I got some t5s k&n air filter boysen power reeds and a jet kit and it still runs funny. When I ride it sounded like it was only hitting on one cylinder untill I got into the power band I changed spark plugs a few times but the last time I held them close to the head to make sure they were getting spark the one on the right looked good. One on left didn't even spark at all I'm thinking it is just a plug cap or wire since the left one worked everytime I kicked it over got a new coil box and wires and ngk caps on the way I wanted to know if you guys think that sounds like that's the issue or could the startor be going bad. The only reason I kind of rulled that out is because the left side worked everytime and thought if it was the stator neither side would fire. Any input appreciated thanks

Looking for an extended swing arm that someone might have to get rid of.
-
I know that their are a lot of you guys that race and invest a lot of money in your banshees and I am looking for someone that might have a 4mill crank and rods that are in good condition for cheaper than a new one. I don't have that much money but I want my banshee to have more power.
-
That's what I was hoping that's prolly the cheapest thing that could be wrong and I'm a little tight on cash, thanks
-
My shee wasn't wanting to start and when it did it ran funny so I recleaned the carbs and changed my spark plugs while I was at it but before I put em in I checked to see if they were getting good spark and the left side was sparking good nice blue spark and I could hear it good too but the right side wasn't sparking at all. I don't have an ohm tester but I was wondering since the left side looked good could it still be the stator or would it be the coil box or just plug caps
-
Well I mainly just ride trails and do some hill climbing but I have a friend that has a banshee that's bored .50 over with k&n airfilter and some reed spacers and reeds and fmf fatty pipes with power core 2s and when we drag raced we were even till we hit 3rd and he just left me and id like to be able to keep up without boring it till I have to but even then I only want to go up to the next size I have to
-
Can I put a stroker kit on a stock motor with toomey pipes boysen power reeds and a k&n airfilter and would it be a good move to make or are their other mods I should look into first
-
I didn't know that they moved when revving them high with the clutch in but another thing that made me think the clutch is going bad is its really hard to kick start when its in gear with the clutch pulled in but in nuetral it starts first kick or 2
-
I notcied that when I have my clutch pulled in and I rev it real high it moves a little and seen this clutch kit made by tusk and was wondering if anyone had heard of it because I can't find any reviews on it and don't want to waste the money if it is a shitty clutch that's only gonna last a ride or 2
-
My shee has been running funny and I was looking and seen that the guy before me that had the quad just cut the wire on the parking brake up by the clutch lever and put a block off plate on it but all the wires are stil there could that be affecting how it revs and takes off still cause it runs better before I put it in gear but as soon as I do it bogs down and doesn't want to take off and wants to die
-
I cleaned my carbs at the same time and don't know which slide goes in what carb, does the tapered side go towards the back of the motor or does it face the front
-
Rebuilding top and bottom end and didnt know if Ihad to make sure the pistons were a certain way or anything to set the timing or can i just go by the split in the case and the numbers on the adjustable etiming plate
