  1. i ran vertex pistons off ebay for 149 with gaskets, they lasted 3 hours and the left piston dropped a skirt. if you want to practice taking your motor apart a bunch of times then run the cheap stuff.
  2. i love when people judge how fast a banshee is by how much chrome is on it. i know a guy that has a rigid frame looks 10 feet long, whille bar everything that a 130hp drag banshee should, fullbore with with custom air brushing, everything polished, and the only thing performance i could see was the sheers and a cool head. it has a jja axle with a 50 hp motor.
  3. they look like cheap hose clamps to me,you can get them in about any size at the local parts store,i think he is looking for an oem look. i use them on my exhaust boots and they eat up the rubber.
  4. dont know much about sevals,i am interested in your passion cylinders. he does them for around 450 so shoot me a price.
  5. kind of looks peach to me but im color blind.now for the physical apperance, all i can say is its probably the best sounding raptor around.lol
  6. agreed,it will look like sh** unless you are very good with working metal.
  7. exactly right, goes for all things with motors.
  8. not much gain on 4 mill without porting.i could tell it had more low end grunt though.
  9. never herd of it. is it a kit? or like spray paint? any info would appreciated.
  10. yep, i made the mistake of not boring my stock bore cylinders. they looked fine no gouges, when i put the top end together i found out the hard way to much piston clearance causes your piston skirts to break off.not making that mistake again..
  11. you only need to worry about clearence issues if you run 115 rods. the longer rod is better for reliability so most people use it,if you are having port work i would deff. run stroker domes or have the stock head cut to clearance the piston. depending on what pipes and intake, the 4 mill with good porting will be a big increase in hp. on carb setup im using stock with no problems. on engine builders look at sight sponsors,im using passion racing engines.
  12. i would love some shearers or rdz's,but finding some for 150 bucks brand new is not gonna happen. my banshee funds are getting low (those are my wifes words) lol
  13. grand river racing, not very well known where im from

  20. i got vertex pistons off ebay,150.00 with gaskets they lasted about 3 hours before the left side skirt came off.i pulled the top end off, pistons looked good no signs of heat failure just no skirts left.
  21. just bought a banshee with dgs. very week,i can feel a good power difference between dgs and fmf fattys.
