  2. kind of curious to this frame you pieced together.and i guess your building a street bike powered quad too?
  3. i have what i think are dg's. they have no brand or marking but look just like dg and have dg silencers.they dont have a groove for o rings so you may want to check.
  4. thanks for the help,i didnt want to invest in the tores removal and pods if im just gonna get rid of the stockers. air box is gone and ordered some k&n pods for the stockers and im getting rid of the tors next.
  5. i want the snipers pipes i heard tyey are good, and a little diff.from everones cpi's and toomys.
  6. can i weld the hot rods crank or will it throw off the balance?
  7. does the 4mm hot rods crank come welded?
  8. your wasting your time stroking it if you dont plan on porting with it.if you cant afford both use stock stroke and port it.
  9. take that boost bottle and bury it deep underground where no one will ever find it.then buy the other million and do the same thing
  10. anybody?i guess ill try the chariots then. ill post the results.
  11. everyone will probly say 27.5 pilots.and on mains i would start it, warm it up,see if it take throttle ok and if so do a plug chop.
  12. I need new reeds and am trying to decide on vf3's or the billet cages and boyson duel stage from chariot performance.Anyone that have used chariots chime in and let me know how they perform compared to the vf3's. My motor is a passion port 4 mill with stock carbs.and grr pipes..thanks
  13. nope,i didnt even extend the swing arm.i set my clutches up kind of aggressive.the bike wouldnt move until about 6500 rpms. i always had problems with the belt.it would slip if i didnt have adjusted just right.and i was always adjusting it.where i mounted my jack shaft i made it adjustable and that was a mistake.put it the exact same distance back from the primary on the sno mobile.and make it solid.
  14. send them to me i have a nice hand grinder lol... for reals tho i use passion jim really knows his stuff.and he lives 30 minuets from me.
  15. just dont go to fast.i seen a guy on a backfireing banshee hit around 100mph and i swear he dissapeared, all that was left was two streaks of fire..lol
  16. pull the carb bowls off.you will have two jets in each carb the bigger one in the center is the main jet and the pilot will be in a smallerhole in front of it.the jets will have a number stamped on them.also you can rfemove the slide and check the needle too.now do you have stock carbs?and saying it is fully built is a broad statment in the banshee world.
  17. yeah,i was like you i had a frame and access to a motor.so i used parts from tractor supply. bearing kit for a 1 inch shaft was like 12 dollars.pretty cheap to build.
  18. is this a joke? boostbottle needs recalibrated, here is a how to,push throttle 3 times within 5 seconds and pump brakes twice.. lol
  19. with all that info you gave i have the answer.sheared flywheel key
  20. my rotax was rated at 100hp (twin cyl) it put down 72hp at the tires, and it did luanch good but i was way under powered for all the work i put in it. i got smoked by 4mil cubs.i traded it for a 660 raptor for my wife.
  21. sounds like its time to split the cases.you more than likely have scored bearings amongst other things.
  22. i built a lt 250 with a rotax 525 snow mobile engine.it was a nightmare, the clutches ended up sticking out past the foot peg on left side.and if you dont get the jack shaft perfect for belt tension it will eat 50 dollar belts all the time.than you run into cooling issues, the stock lt radiator would not keep it cool, and in most snowmobile engines the cooling passages are very small and restrictive.its almost like were designed for cold weather LOL.
