  1. i would replace the o rings when pulling the apart, but i dont trust cool heads anyways.to many places for a leak.
  2. ethanol absorbs water so you cant see it like you could in regular gas.it also attracts moisture which is why e85 vehicles have stainless lines and stuff in their fuel systems to keep from corroding inside.also in a vehicle thats not e85 lean fuel trim codes will pop up.on a atv all you have to do is jet for the e85 your motor will need 30% more fuel when running e85 so you would have to more than likely have to drill your mains kind of like running strait alky.also i would recomend using super techniplate for alcohal motors.
  3. the only thing worth using is the 450 calipers.
  4. and you dont read at all.lol he posted about arms not shocks. and the 450 arms a mistake to put on,the mess up your suspension and steering geometry.if you go to the suspension forum you will find a lot of info on it.
  5. you do realize if a law is passed making it mandatory to carry insurance, rates will go way up.just like auto insurance did.when a law is passed making you pay a private owned company for their product (insurance) they start bending you over and butt raping you.CAPITALISM. i love to pay in for years and years and when i need to make a claim they run you around and b.s. you. im fighting with geico right now.
  6. how big are you? i was told that they work best with a light rider. i only weigh around 145 -150.
  7. thanks for the help,i almost talked my self into it.
  8. i would have to swap. i always heard friends say that less weight on the crank makes the engine lose tourqe.
  9. im in the middle of a engine build.4mill passion port,is a lightend flywheel worth getting.i can get one free off a friends bike.
  10. sorry i got it backwards, you will lose a little on top not bottom.but it is well worth it.
  11. yes,but you will lose some on bottom.
  12. if your asking how to use common since you probably dont have any.
  13. they have better cooling. they dont add performance they are just a supporting mod for a "built"motor.if you are mostly stock the stock one will be fine. EDIT::unless you are in the dessert.
  14. one kick isnt enough.you need to kick it while at full throttle until the needle stops climbing on the guage .
  15. my guess would be loose rad. clamp.
  16. yes,a coolant leak is a problem.
  17. wow!!!! best post ever hands down. i had to show my wife that onr
  18. you are overcarbed.with that setup you still have plenty left with the stockers.you will not be happy with big. carbs on a stock port/stroke motor.the smaller carbs have a quicker throttle response.just keep the stock ones tuned and you will be happy.
  19. ok, list all mods on bike, compression? what pipes? type of reeds. airbox or pods? list elevation and temp. in your area. EDIT: people are gonna say somthing about you posting in the wrong section.
  20. i have always run atf (free at work) with no problems. and for torquing the drain plug,i never have neither.use common since and you should be fine
  21. i think you are talking about the dump tube coming loose.they should be the same on both carbs.
  22. wow!!,i think you are talking about the air mix screw you can run it in or out to fine tune the air fuel mixture.from your post i think you might be in over your head.if you dont know how to to tune a carb. you can lean out your motor and have a meltdown.i sugest you find a friend with some experience to help you out.meanwhile search and study so you can do it yourself next time.
  23. the only thing i can say is...shoot the dog.
  24. so your saying it will not roll with clutch pulled in? is this with the engine running or not?
