Need some advice....I've searched thoroughly and haven't came across an answer so here goes...I recently purchased a cub motor, I'm new to the cub scene, anyway I took the topend apart to make sure everthing looked fine on the inside...I noticed that some rtv was used as the gasket and nothing else. So I had some oem gaskets lying around and used them to put it back together, only to realize later that there's a gasket made for the monoblock cub. So I want to know if the two piece gasket is fine or not.....thank you for any help

didnt have the money at the time plus its not a complete motor.....so if someone told me they had a 4mil cub with override for 1400 are u guys saying i should beware?

i went th the track myself for the first time. since the dirt tracks round here been close. mine is also a trail bike with a port job, stock cylinders stock carbs stock head. the best i got was 8.1 at 79 mph

I just stripped my right side carb idle screw threads and the screw just keeps turning.....is there an easy fix to this or do I need a new carb...thanks

Just did a flush...poured oil in the crank and lifted the bike upright to let all the shavings come out. Seems to have did a good job. From what I can see anyway. Had my cylinder measured and its still in spec according to the rings. So not sure where the play could occur. Unless my rod is bad. Which my friend mentioned.

Yeah my spark plugs were backing there way out of the cylinders...which I heard or read that was called by detonation. Not really sure what causes that or how to stop it. I'm +4 timing, head milled equal to 21 domes and running 93

Left side a lil whiter than the right. But not by much. In my kn pod filter I do have a slight small whole in the filter where it was rubbing against a screw. Could that lil hole cause it to lean that much of a difference.?? Also should my spark plugs be completely dry..?? Thanks
