Not sure. They were wiseco pistons. Are the cast pistons stronger? And no didn't hear any piston slap before hand. Heard exactly when it happened. Soon as I put the 310 in.

Hello...any info would be appreciated. This is the second time the left side has blew a piston. Even tho its been some months from the first time, I don't think this should be happening. As u can see it looks white and pretty dry. I have dune port from hjr, shaved head, timing plate and t5s. I was running 340 jets in it, kevin said I was running to rich cause my spark plugs were black and wet. So I dropped to a 330. Oh yeah forgot to mention I was having a very bad bog that's what lead me to jetting issue...anyway so I decided to go to a 310 jet and soon as I rode for five minutes, I could hear the piston shatter. Has anyone seen something like this and if so did u figure out what the problem was.?? Thank you Well I tried to send pic but file was to big. ok ive searched but havent found the answer to my question. ok i have +4 timing, hjr dune port, .030 milled stock head, and at 770 feet elevation. i have seen the psi to elevation chart and i believe my heads are equal to a 21cc domes. and im getting a reading of 120 psi on both cylinders. does that seem to low for my setup??? the reason im asking cause my bke has being running phenomonal till yesterday, started bogging out the hole in second gear and it has neva done that and check the compression today. and it just seemd low compared to the chart. i know stock it should be reading 125psi but mine not stock. does anyone have a similiar setup or know what i should be reading??. thanks
