The worse part about broken/injured ribs, is you cant really do anything about it. cant cast them, brace them, splint, nothing. You can wrap them with an ace bandage, but i dont think that does much. when i jacked my ribs up last year, all i could do was try not to laugh, sneeze, or cough. only time heals the ribs. Good luck.

I was running 320 mains on my stock ported cyls when i had stock carbs. 27.5 pilot, screw 1.5 turns out. I would guess that you need somewhere around 340's? Dont quote me. Im just guessing. I would switch to twin 35mm pwk's if i were you.

There is no way a 4 stroke 450 would be able to keep up with a 450 2 stroke. Look at the motogp 2 strokes. Those were 500cc's and when 4 stroke motogp bikes came on the scene, they were liter bikes....twice the size. 2 strokes are lighter and make power on every stroke, unlike the 4 stroke.

Are the stock carbs going to be enough? I would think at least 28's. I though the stockers were only good up to around 75-85hp?

Send your cylinders in to a site sponsor for a hardcore mx port . You can line up and kill your buddies and then hit the trails. Or if you don't want to tear the top end off, I agrees with the other guy.

I have a set of pipes and silencers for a j arms banshee like yours that i will sell for cheap. They would wake your bike up. Let me know if you are interested.

If you go get a 4 mill, you will have to have your jugs ported already for stock stroke.

You need to work on your grammar and sentence structure player. your posts are a little difficult to decipher. You didnt have the block to it? the cylinders? Bottom end? motor? try to refrain from using slang. You said you have a 96 with j arms? You could sell both of your 450's and have enough to build a sweet banshee. That's what I would do.

Those mag wheels look aluminum to me. Also judging by the front shock angle, I would say those are stock shocks on aftermarket a arms. STAGE IV EVERYTHING. What a joke.

Yea, im pretty set on going with redline. I havent heard anything bad about his motors. Plus looking at that 4mill stock cylinder dyno sheet he posted looks real nice.

There could be a few reasons why your bike doesnt feel as ripper up to compared to your buddies. Did he have porting, different carbs, different gearing, other mods that you dont have? Get the jetting dialed in and then start tweaking the rest of the bike.

Stick to your same ratio. Only thing you would have to change is the fuel octane, but that depends on how what domes you use.

Why didnt they just bolt on a Turbo and save who knows how much money.
