  1. Those aren't cub or cheetah cyls. Sent from a van down by the river
  2. Look like stock cylinders. Not a Cub , not a Cheetah. Sent from a van down by the river
  3. I think it's a good idea in principle. It just needs to include a performance increase (modern port layout) as well as sized pistons. It has the potential to be a better option than the Athena cyls....If executed properly. Sent from a van down by the river
  4. That's probably going to be a hard sell at that price point since they aren't ported. If they were updated to new specs ( not 1970's tech like factory) you could sell them easier. Good used stock cyls go for pennies these days. Sent from a van down by the river

  8. Yea. That's doesn't make sense.I'm not saying it's impossible for a stock cylinder and stock carbs to need 400 mains...just saying of all the ones I've seen ( that are tuned in good) are in the 330-350 range. ...that being said, there are some setups out there that are somewhat " unconventional"...so who knows. I'd recommend that you do a couple full throttle plug chops with the needle in the middle position and see where you are. Sent from a van down by the river

  14. I'm not "proving" anything. Just stating a simple constant in this hobby... " 9 times out of 10 , you get what you pay for". I'm all for new things. .but shouldn't it be new, or at least re designed/ updated substantially? ...Instead of a smacking of a knockoff? Here's my beef ( if it can even be called that). We have hardworking and paying sponsors on here who provide great products for us to choose from....then people who use said forum,INSIST on buying a cheaper product from someone off of eBay that does nothing to support this forum. To save a couple bucks. Seems a little funky if you ask me. Kind of bugging the crap out of a builder with no intention of spending money with them. Sent from a van down by the river
