Haha. Ive noted that sentiment on a few boards alluding to the fact that the USA is behind the times when it comes to 2stroke Tech,,,and that may well be. But! What we are talking about here is a Banshee based motor. ( i know 2stroke theory translates across the board generally) Nobody "across the pond" or across ANY pond for that matter can touch the premier US builders when it comes to banshee specific engines....i mean how many aftermarket cyls are designed outside the USA? That's the only point I'm making with regards the topic here... anyone can easily discredit "theory" such as the link i posted,but when you have guys "theorizing" in that thread who are the creators, and R&D testers of the most popular/powerful aftermarket cylinder designs of all time( for Banshees),,i'd tend to give them a little credit... because honestly in the case if CP Ind he does more than just theorize ,,he actually tests stuff in the real world through racers and builders. Side note: I have no vested interest in CP Industries , nor am i a CP nut-hugger. ( Or PS for that matter) It just seemed somewhat dismissive to simply discredit what some knowledgeable people posted online ( free public knowledge) with a simple " eh, that's just BS" basically . But carry on!

^^Yep. That's why i prefaced what i said by " if your carbs are good". ( no stuck floats, set at proper level, no clogged jets,etc) Good looking out.

Any time I've ever rattled a plug out,it was from it being lean,,for what ever reason. ( Air leak or jetting) If you do a leak down and pass, and your carbs are good, its probably lean on the needle. I cant remember a time where a lean main jet rattled a plug out. Its possible,don't get me wrong,but people tend to throw a bigger main at a lean jetting situation,and just mask a lean needle setting. As for CC'ing the domes,,i wouldn't waste my time. Brandon knows what he's doing on his domes, and like Finch said, even if you DID CC them, that's only a part of the formula,,it really wont tell you much anyway.

If you are doing a COMPLETE tear-down and rebuild, i wouldn't fool with a leak down test before teardown. If you are doing a top-end or bottom end only after a melt down, then yea.

They'd work, but id get 39's if i had to buy carbs anyway.

Hey man. Sorry for the inconvenience , but i think ill just keep my play axle on my dune bike. I compared it to my Hillshooter off my drag bike and i think a hillshooter will be too narrow for the duner. The duner has +2 A Arms ,and even fully extended , the hillshooter made the bike narrower in the rear than the front. Im sure you can find someone to swap ya though. Thanks!
