  1. JMadd has been around an engine or two..haha. I wouldn't have a problem taking advice from him..especially if it'd help me run the times he does! Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  2. Uses punctuation. Readable and coherent sentences. .. Need more like ya! Welcome. Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  3. That must be an extraordinarily light bike?
  4. I guess what it means is that superior technology doesn't necessarily mean faster. Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  5. Whats sooo funny is, even with all this ^^^ Ive yet to see an overseas "tuner" come to the states and make a name,,or even be competitive in the race scene ( speaking strictly Banshees, since this is a banshee based site).
  6. I dont get it. A guy comes on here asking about his banshee right? Your basic reply discredits a post on another forum that delves into the question at hand. Then to try and qualify what you said, instead of producing relevant data from the so called "foremost experts" that applies to the guys question, you allude to the rsa cyl, then post a picture of a overseas cyl design that didnt even make it to production? I think itd be nice if one of these " formost tuners" you speak of could take the ancient designs our builders are forced to work with ( banshee based cyls and cases) and produce similar results...won't happen. Know why? They are spoiled so to speak by starting out with newer technology and not saddled with what banshee builders are. But that does NOT make them "foremost" as you put it. Turn them loose on a banshee based engine (that IS what this forum is about after all) and see what results when comparing them to the builders stateside. The difference is that the stateside builders have years of real world R& D . Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  7. I was wondering the same thing. Wants " skinny" wheels but not spindlemounts? Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  8. Free bump. Very tempting as I have a stock stroke bottomend laying around. Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  9. This qoute is what I was referring to. Those HP to CC ratios just arent possible in a N/A banshee based engine format....due to the constraints of the oem designed layout. ..but if you can show me an overseas builder doing that, I'll be the first to take back what I said.
  10. It doesnt relate "across the board" in regards to comparing a (factory) race teams R& D team, who can design an engine from scratch and dictate every specification, to a builder here in the US who is limited to a banshee based engine, where certain things cannot be changed. 11. Spam the whole BHQ with multiple posts on the same crap! Keep it Classy yo!
  12. Sheesh.. dont you already have this junk posted here> http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=170917&hl= and here> http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=170960&hl=
  13. Its only fair to mention that factory teams have the luxury of designing from scratch. ..cases, trans style and layout, all of it. So its only fair to keep the context of this discussion strictly about banshee based engines. Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  14. Most definitely Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  15. ^^ Ha! You're doing it wrong. And by "it" i don't mean keeping the banshee running.
  16. huh??
  17. Pix of cart? Always wanted to get in to that. Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  18. Haha. At least you didn't receive cases that were stained " im gay" with dyechem. ...yet anyway.
  19. 10x2 spindle mounts work? Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  20. Unless your current carbs are shot for some reason, id keep the stockers. If you are having to buy carbs anyway...PWK. Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  21. Make sure you remove that little half moon retainer clip behind the clutch basket...then throw it away. If its all the way apart, a light tap with a rubber mallet should make them easily split. Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  22. So not to oversimplify, but the reason the pipes stick out like that is because of not modifying the frame and possibly using a narrower radiator? Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  23. Don't you find it annoying for the pipes to lay out to the sides like that? I noticed that if you take some more time you can end up with results like Wacko2000 did in his conversion here> http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=170461&page=1 Not knocking your project, I'm just wondering why you have your pipes splayed out VS tucking the pipes in tight like Wacko2000 did?
  24. Are you sure its the motor thats the problem? Setup is key when it comes to racing.
  25. it takes about 5 more minutes to pop the pistons off.
