  1. Where are you located? Would you just sell it. Pm me back.
  2. Dave if you want a ltr copy of the blingstars call JD now since he has mine to copy off of.
  3. Lmao....loco. That's why I'm gonna let him do his thing and then call me. No sense in bothering him while he's trying to get shit done at work.
  4. JD received my ltr blingstat stuff Wednesday according to UPS tracking. He said it could be a couple weeks turnaround time. He hasn't contacted me back yet but he said he would after he looks it over and comes up with a plan. I'd say I will probably hear from him next week. I didn't want to call and aggravate him to death so I will just wait until he calls me. If I don't hear from him by the end of next week I will give him a call so I can keep everyone posted on the progress.
  5. So what is the price on these lol .....are they still for sale.
  6. Give me a price on the frame ....very interested in buying it. Also where are you located in PA?
  7. Email me a few pics please. [email protected]
  8. Where are you located ? I would be interested in just the frame if you would split it up for parts.
  9. JD should get my stuff Wednesday and let me know what's up shortly after when he comes up with a design. I will report back and get everyone's input on the designs he offers.
  10. Windycityjohn...I have never even thought of pea gravel. I can definitely see that being a problem. The worst I ride in is dirt, a little mud, a few water puddles, and smaller rocks on the trails. I guess a single plate would be fine as more people could use that design and it would still serve the purpose to protect the chain/ sprocket. Plus it would keep the cost lower too making this item more attractive to more people. I guess we will see what JD comes up with for us....I'm sure we won't be disappointed. My ltr blingstar stuff is off the bike ready to be shipped out tomorrow. Thanks for all the input from everyone....will keep everyone posted on the progress.
  11. From what I've heard about JD ....i will trust his judgement 100% . Seems like an awsome guy.
  12. I still think I'm going to go with the dual side chain guard...I haven't really experienced any trouble with debris packing up in my chain. Although i have read about people saying that they have.
  13. It really shouldn't matter if you are running a Honda style setup or factory setup. Reason being that the chain guard will bolt up to the sprocket and the rotor guard will replace the factory brake stay/ caliper monting bracket. So using a Honda setup wouldn't work for the chain guard .....it would be banshee specific.
  14. I will be taking my blingstars of my ltr this afternoon, boxing them up and sending them out to JD on Monday. Only issue I see is I might have to trim my tm design chain block next to the sprocket due too tight clearances. Shouldn't be a big issue. Maybe I could find a different style chain block that would clear it. I will know more once he fabs these up and I get them bolted up. I will keep you all up-to-date on the progress.
  15. Still looking for a frame with a title in good shape. Not too worried about the paint since I will have it powder coated. I really prefer an 06 model frame. Although I may be open to 03 or newer ones. I can't seem to find an 06 anywhere other than eBay. I really don't want to buy one off rattle can Ray either....to many horror stories with him.
  16. Another update ....through text I talked with JD and sent over some pics. I'm going to strip down the ltr and send him my blingstar setup so he can design them for us banshee owners. I think he's gonna use aluminum too....these are gonna look sick I bet! I will get mine sent out by Monday to him and expect about a two week turn around time according to JD. Wonder if he will hook us up as guinea pigs for the trial first run lol....will keep posting as i know more. Trying to keep this post to the top to gain some more interest and possibly keep the cost lower with more orders.
  17. My swing arm doesnt have any skid plate mounts either. He said he was gonna make them out of stainless ...instead of aluminum like the blingstar version to keep cost down. From the way he talked it should be a product that can be fabbed up for under $ 200. Also he will cut some half circles in the chain guard like the blingstar version for added traction for crossing over trees and stuff when you bottom out the rear....this feature does work good too. So I will head off to the garage to pull out my axle on the ltr so i can get him some good pics of how its designed. I think its gonna be a pretty nice piece to add to the banshee. Keep on posting up if your interested and I will keep updating this as I get more info. Thanks JD for taking on this project!
  18. Update...just spoke with JD at jdscustoms. He said he would be very interested in making a rotor and sprocket guard for us. I am going to go home and send some pics of my blingstar set up off my LTR to him. Anyone else interested in these just post up...maybe we could get an awsome deal if he did a decent sized production run.
  19. I've heard that too but have yet to experience it on my bike. I found a picture somewhere and it looks like what Chris Borich ran on his xc ltr 450....if its good enough for a pro is sure as hell should work for me lol. Although I do see where people could possibly have mud get packet in it and mess something up. But on the other hand....the chain sits pretty deep inside it so if a chain was adjusted properly I would think it would be very difficult to throw a chain. Just my opinion for what it worth.
  20. Yep....that's the ones I have on my ltr 450 and love them so far. Id like to see if someone could fab up some for my banshee too.
  21. Anyone else interested?
  22. I sent jds customs an email in reguards to this...its worth a shot.
  23. Maybe if we had enough interest in them someone could make some.
  24. I recently purchased the blingstar rotor and chain guard for my ltr 450 and i am very impressed with it. I have ruined many skid plates on it before I tried out the new setup. I currently run an Ace Fabrication swing arm on my banshee with a round house carrier. I wonder if anyone makes these for a banshee? If they don't i wonder if any site sponsor would be interested in making one ....or if anyone would even want one other than me lol. I think its nice not having a skid plate hanging up and getting bent and ripped off. Plus the rotor and chain guard looks very nice on the quad.
  25. Yes that would be him. I thought he was sketchy from what I has read on here. Thanks for the heads up!
