Jeff is a stand up guy... I had cylinders shipped to him..none the less they were useless... jeff recommemded some sellers on HQ who he personally dealt with and recommended! He also steered me away from bad buys.. As i contacted him with deals that i thought about.!!! I gave hiim NO buisness and the guy still offers me advice and pointers... BUT i can gaurentee... if i need any cylinder work.. I WILL ONLY goto jeff at FAST!!!! Stand up guy.. who wont screw you over unlike other people out there trying to get you for cents on the dollar.... thanx again jeff... Phill from NJ

Give the repair and mods section a good look thrue.. ive searched every pafge in here.. as you should to. dont just look at the new topics.... Theres alot of questions already answered, just llook for them!! Good luck.. The 421 cub... is something you might wanna take a look into!!!!

I dunno dude them 500 motors are sick.... I always wanted to do a build like that.. I got a 96 cr500 bored .25 over... its all going to depend on gearing on both bikes... 16 upfront.. i dont think ur going to be able to launch very well. being ur geared for top end.. he might have you outta the whole and 1/8 mile... might not give you enough time to reel him in.. when i drag i start in 2nd.. I personally beleive this to be an advantage of start in first!!! AND finally it depends on the riders. R\egardless its always fun having a buddy to compete against..... Good luck... Dont take this wrong.. But how long you been riding? I mean do you think your a good enough rider to beat this guy... Ur doing something wrong to be losing that race .Or its not tuned right!!!.. You shuld be able to launch that thing 2nd gear full throttle.. The 400 shuldnt be a problem!!!!

' I beleive you can use stock bottom end.. Its a bolt and go set up.. But i havnt heard good things about that kit.... People on this board wont recommend it.. atleast from what ive seen.. You might be better off with some port work.. and some forged internals.. maybe even a bore job...reeds bigger carbs..etc It all depends what you wana accomplish... the 421 cub is no joke.. and its a good amount of money if you ask me!!! See what other hafta say... you will get steared tin the right direction... Way i see it more hp= more problems!!!!

I jusit asked the same questions... Plain and simple.. people who know banshee's know an aftermarket head... IF you want the stock look.. use the stock head.. theres alot of debates about this topic... ive learned that threw starting a thread like this already.. scroll threw the threads in here and you see it ..... there some good opinions in it... I am to looking for a place to send my stock head to as well.!!!!

The banshee powerband is unlike anyother ,,,, closest thing to the banshee band. was my 1996 cr 80 i had... I have yet to find a bike that hits as hard as a banshee when u crack that throttle..... Its an obsession!!!

This is just from now.. Im paying off school loans... when i pay off them.... Is when i will make it have some balls.. but right now... not a big deal to me...I had the worked 450 before.. im not in it for racing... I will see what happens when i get my cylinders in.,, Guy says they are 64.50mm bore on the cylinders im getting.. Im going to go with a new top end kit... Sry guys.. didnt mean to stir up past BS!! Probly should have searched it.. I Just wanted some info on it.. But thanx for the info.. Depending on how much it cost me rechamber and mill the stocker head... And how much i can sell my Pro Design Cool Head...will determine what i do.. I can always buy another Cool Head when i get some extra cash... Thats the main reason im asking...I need some extra cash to buy a New top end kit!! I dont ride alot,, or for long intervals... so im not worried about performance or it heating up!!!

What? Give me your opinion.. I aint looking to make my bike all badass.. I wont be taking it over stock cylinder size... I just heard a milled stock head, does the same as a cool head.. it builds compression...

I I had a port job and a 64.75mm piston and i have t-5's and that thing hauled ass..powerband was just sick!!!.. But go with what these guys suggest... As stated above the pro circuits are sick!!!.. but I love my t-5's they can handle some mods!!!

Im plan on purchasing a set of stock cylinders.. and im gettin a stock head with it also.. I currently have a cool head with 22cc domes i beleive.. Would a milled stock head benefit me better on a stock bore , unported. rather then the cool head? Plus i could sell the cool head for sum extra cash... Ive already gotten some answeres and opinions.. Id like some more... Thanx in advance BHQ
