If your gonna go 4 stroke get a 450!! Them raptor 700's arnt all that great.. Very high off the ground.. and I dont think they have the power of a 450.. I had a yfz450.. Great trail bike and she ripped in a straight line.. And i could ride all dayon a tank of gas!! I traded the 450 for a banshee..... but i still would recommend a 450 over the raptor...JMO

Repaint them!! They have quiet a few colors to select from.. or just get new pipes.. or try trading them!!

hahaha I painted mine.. I got alot of chrome on my bike.. Im not into the bling look.. I painted mine yesterday... i love em... Cant wait to see them on the bike..

they was alot of surface rust on the pipes.. That was the main reason, But. I just liked the look of the flatt black pipes...My bike has the whole right side billet clutch cover, and etc of the motor. S i thought it was overkill Plus I wanted to make it my bike in a way.. Ad my own little customization i guess you could say....And im a big fan of the all black bikes!!!!! Final test is when they go on the bike, and i see how they look!!!

Take it to a shop or a builder and they will tell you what to do!!.. The only reason you shuld jump to .50mm from .20mm is if ur walls are scored!!!

Thing seems to pull pretty damn hard!!! He will regret trading for a 450 if he does!!!

Got a pair of stockers as stated.. just the reeds and cages.. no gaskets , bolts etc!! They came off my buddies 06 shee , the day he bought it.. May have 2 hrs of run time on them!! Will post pictures this afternoon.... $30bucks to your door in the US!!

Evil... Ur cable adjustment is off a little bit.. it shuldnt creep forward, while ur in gear and rev it up.. If it stays that way you will be replacing clutches more often.. therre should be some play in ur clutch lever.. i beleive 1/4 of an inch play is what it supposed to be, unless you have a new cable! So just mess with the cable adjustments.. u shuld be able to find a spot where u rev it up in gear with the clutch in and not move anywheres!!!

Thats what i hear as well swire... I dont have any clunking putting into first or anything.. But i do have problems finding nuetral.. just either goes into 2nd or back into 1st... but if i shut it out.. it goes right into nuetral.... I just shut her down in gear.. then find nuetral.. !!!

Ive ran that Pro Honda for yrs in my bikes... i usta race motocross and i beat the balls of them bikes.. and never any problems.. Im going to run Pro Honda HP 80/85 in my shee when i put her back together..!!!

x2....Phelps . 04-07 yfzs have been knowed for bad lock ups.. im talking cases cranks rods.and everything in peices.. I know from person expiriance... if you get a yfz get 07 or newer... Thats the year they fixed there oiling problem to the cranks.... I'll never buy a 4stroke again... if i do itll be a 4x4 qaud.. I traded my YFZ for a Banshee. and im GLAD i did... Some people say the banshee's ride like shit.. and arnt trail friendly. BULLSHIT.. I loved ripping one trails with my shee.... Dont think a 4stroke isnt any maintenence like phelps said.. your highly mistaken...!!!!
