  1. I heard NGK designed the dome in the picture. Trying to boost sales.
  2. I think diesel would detonate with that dome. I'd go .050-.055 on squish. That is safe and still makes good power. Tighter will make little more power but can cause issues if everything isn't perfect.
  3. Overrides equals more maintance. There is NO way to cut an OR tranny and make it last like stock. With a duneable we add springs to help with back load. The springs are not goin to save shift forks from wearing they will prolong them from wearing. The pro mod tranny is the only tranny you can treat like stock and not be damaging forks. If a customer isn't capable to check forks once a year I neve recommend a OR tranny duneable or not. I use to cut duneables with steeper dogs and had great success. But you will get a few that lock up at low speeds under a slow down shift. So I went to a shallower cut with stiffer springs. This is more succesful in most riding conditions with proper maintenance. If you don't want to screw with tranny or you jump slot-PRO MOD If you are capable of shift fork checks yearly, don't jump and want To do trails - DUNEABLE OR If you sit at the hill or track and race - STD OR This is merely my opinion. 4. I always ran ATF with my billet trannys. I asked Robinson and he said that was perfectly fine. I since switched to gear saver. Only due to the fact that I buy 55 gallons at a time and the price is more affordable.
  5. The billet trannys put the back cut on the female side not the male side. So they take zero back load. They are stronger but less forgiving. They don't like excessive tire spin since this unloads tranny. They are made for WFO only. If you peddle tge throttle I'd check forks. It will jack the sliders up when they gall up. I never ran billet forks but I never had a problem on any of my billet trannys.
  6. Dan @ Patriot still does work for select people. Great guy.
  7. So now that the race is all squared away we can have an open discussion. Lol
