  1. Awesome day!!! No rain all day tons of passes !! Good group of people!!!
  2. Rode this bike many times!!! This is a great handling chassis. Shoots straight every time.
  3. Dan is a great guy!! But I think he is only doing friends motors.
  4. It was made by MQ for a local guy named Wade he owned Tricklicks. Don't believe you can get them anymore tho.
  5. I have played alot with boysen ports. On my 350 I pulled cylinders off while on the dyno added boysen ports reinstalled them. They did improve HP, it made .070 hp more. On my twin cougar which has large boysen ports I epoxied them up while on the dyno made exact same hp. Mtr was a little less responsive at low rpm but showed no loss in hp any were on curve . Not saying they aren't a good thing just saying there is more in angles and shapes than extra holes.
  6. I would imagine you have a clip that popped off one of you shafts or a broken gear. A billet 2nd is not needed in a small mtr like that. Usually the dogs break on the gears not the teeth wearing out.
  7. Spoken very well matt. Crank is heart of a mtr. Buy a good one once there is a ton of junk out there.
  8. Do not do it by bending solder at 90*. You must take head off and put a piece of solder in line with wrist pin using a dan of grease to secure it. Reinstall head to proper TQ then rotate mtr over. By doing it thru spark plug hole you will get an innacurate reading on some motors die to piston rock.
  9. If you choose Kevin to build your mtr than you must trust HIS squish desighn. There is more to squish than you can imagine, total dome profiel ,Exh shape and duration, PIPES, fuel....... This is a FORD CHEVY debate. Everybody has a different target on there dome profile. I would agree with Kevin on his squish numbers, on a well set up motor. On a poorly setup mtr you will half to tighten squish and crank timing to make it work. Which is not user friendly due to detonation. LISTEN TO YOUR BUILDERS PEOPLE!!!!! NOT THE SKEETERS AND N20's on here.
  10. Depending on your size I would say a 4 mm stock cylinder or ported 350 mtr. With both these mtrs you could easily run stock carbs and retain great fuel economy. With a good parts package and mtr setup you will have great power.
  11. If your looking for junk shop here!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Because he is a stupid canadian .....Eeehhhhh. if you have ever seen the show Trailer Park Boys he is a Bubbles stunt double.
  13. I can do a set for 360 shipped. 2-35pwk carbs 1- new throttle cable Shipping Let me know on motor specs can get you in ball park with jetting to. Thanks cam
  14. Dunable is kind of a deceiving term ,Cam nailed it spring assist with less back cut. Standard OR trannies are very reliable ,but not as motocross bikes. Dunables are a LITTLE more forgiving on backloads. With all the trannies yearly shift fork inspection is needed for best shifting. These are all racing mods 10 people may never had a problem the 11th one will grenade one. Everyone has a differnt riding style and they all think they are flawless riders. It comes down to this if you have a 14" arm and alky you prob dont need a dunable tranny. If you like jumping keep your stock tranny. Or better yet TALK TO YOUR BUILDER, they can help you ALOT if they are truthfull and experienced.
  15. How big is your son weight wise, what and were do you ride ,what pipes do you have....????? Ten mill motors are awesome but it hard to beat a lot of the 4 mill motors. If yourson is 120 lbs I would say 4 mill for sure, money spent to HP made they are the best. But if your son is 6'4 220lb maybe a 10 mill would be better fit. Both motors are extremely reliable and take about same parts except for the crank.
  16. The T-rex cylinder are extinct. So you are left with Trinity and the Cheetah cylinder. This is a great setup, but very pricey. I would suggest the Serval motor. This motor will smoke the T-rex motor, be alot cheaper to build than full size cheetah. The early Twister cylinder were available in a PV model but I dont think it is anymore??
  17. THANK YOU for all positive replies. We try to have the best customer service possible, but sometimes getting caught up in day to day stuff it's tough. Unfortunately in the performance industry you cannot make all people happy. We are one of the only shops around that can do all your banshee work in-house so this will effect our turn around time. Thanks for all the support HQ!!!!!!! EVERY ONE WHO GAVE POSITIVE FEED BACK WILL EITHER RECEIVE A FREE HOUR TUNING CLASS FROM N20 , OR A FREE T SHIRT FROM ME!!!!!! I WOULDI TAKE THE TUNING CLASS IT'S LIKE MR BEAN CARB TUNING 101
  18. If you are just drag racing go with a standard OR tranny. With the Duneable you have springs help keeping the gears in there perspective location. If a gear fails it can let another gear fall into gear which is very destructive on your whole tranny. I cut a lot of both no more problems with either one or the other. But for just drag racing you will not have a problem with a standard OR tranny. For money spent to bike lengths picked up I feel there is no mod even I'm comparison. Cam
  19. I personally use Threebond 1211 sealant. It is not as thin and runny as Yamabond, 1194 type sealants. It will seal imperfections in cases, gasket surfaces so on. But this a Ford, Chevy debate all based on personal choice. Good flat clean surfaces are more important than sealant.
