  1. Brand new OEM hose ID .770+-. My OD of temp gauge at largest point .750 at smallest point .710. Should fit just fine. If it's way loose you may need new hoses. They tend to swell over years of use. Cam
  2. We will run this sale through Sunday night! Please make sure your shipping address is in PayPal. Please select the color for the temp gauge. Thanks!! Banshee chrome tank cover - $25 shipped http://redlineracing.biz/shop/banshee-chrome-tank-cover/ Banshee OEM ratio straight cut gears - $250 shipped http://redlineracing.biz/shop/straight-cut-gears-standard-ratio/ In-line Temp Guage - $40 shipped http://redlineracing.biz/shop/line-temperature-gauge/
  3. I got a really nice stock crank. I would do 200 shipped. It will be welded with new outer bearings. Came out of a low hour 2002.
  4. Let's leave Windy out of this. I've only heard good things about Jay @ IPS. Good job on build should run well.
  5. I got bowls 140 and lock ups 60. 200 shipped.
  6. Tim is a great guy. Very well educated in perf atv motors. Always willing to talk and answer questions.
  7. I ported cylinder originally for him sent domes and pistons. I called windy about a year ( my guess) after I sent it out. Discussed with him I just spent done time on the dyno with one and made some changes to pick up some hp. I had dynoed one before and after porting with no gains. So I made some changes to port shapes and angles and produced good gains. I told him ship it to me I'll make changes to it and send it back to plater, which was where it was at or getting ready to go there he said. Not sure why he had it at plater or needed it to go there. He got cylinder back and saw no gain in hp in his testing. This was only time he had cylinder back to me. He talked to Matt about mtr weekly but I received 4 calls on it in a two year time. Many times I called Matt he'd ask me why my customer is asking him about my mtr? I said I have no idea. Matt said he saw dyno graphs I never saw any at all. Matt said he wouldn't redo my cylinder since it would look bad of he got more hp out of it. Which I'm sure he would have since he had whole mtr and could dyno it and trouble shoot it. If I dynoed it and it only made 97 hp I would surely not if shipped it out. So long story short I had cylinder back ONCE.
  8. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to dyno it. I will be putting it together as a whole mtr. Which I will be doing the case porting, trenching... So on. But as I look at the cylinder I see no issues with it. I talked to Matt about it said he didn't like shape and width of exh port. He said that's not how He would set it up. He said there were other things with the mtr he said would not be conducive to hp that I had no part in tho. Sorry for inconvenience glad your up and running with a solid combination. Thanks Cam
  9. I never said I built a 85 hp FMF piped mtr on stock cylinders. I have no record or dyno graph of this mtr. I've answered all my questions.
  10. What is Franks situation? As far as I know there is none. I've spoke to Frank about the mtr , I have txts from him saying it " runs like a beast". I've addressed the issues already on this forum. No secrets here. I called you and discussed your cylinder I did for you. Yes I bought it back from you. Only reason you didn't openly bash me before was because you had a cylinder to sell now that I bought it back your free to do so I guess. Only reason I did motor was because Matt said he won't just port cylinders only complete motors. You didn't want to ship your mtr to him so Matt recommended K&T or me. I did you a cylinder and it didn't work for you I'M SORRY!! I've exhausted all my avenues to make you happy. Leave me out of your rants on this forum. If you want to PM every member and tell them how worthless of an engine builder go ahead but leave me out of your open forum comments. Please take me off your member profile. If you believe my dyno is so wrong that's your opinion and that's fine. I have had many people dyno elsewhere with very similar numbers. I've been to many track and hill races and did well with personal and customer motors. Thanks Cam
  11. Lol. Thinks I didn't dyno it possibly. I never mislead Frank in any way. Except my mistake on jets. I'm pretty sure he'd have a hard time burning it down off a pilot jet error. I'm my experience if it's that lean to burn down it would hardly run. Funny I never got a phone call, txt or email when he discovered them. But first I heard about it was on a weekend when I randomly texted him to see if he had gotten all his other parts that had not shown up so he could ride it. He asked me about shifting. Said on his txt " hard time shifting after 10 or so passes" I said clutch may be getting hot. Seems logical on a gas mtr and 10 passes? I didn't offer any BS suggestions or irrational advice. I said " try to not rev mtr up with clutch in if you do it creates heat and clutch can do weird stuff. Never heard one complaint about head or a question about how I set it up. But I told him on last phone call exactly how and why I set it up that way. I asked any detonation, blown head gaskets..... So on and so on. He said all was good but ran about 200*. I dynoed the bike on my dyno chassis that all motors get thrown in. Had good load 4 sec run 85 mph, non o ring chain, my CPI pipes, carrier has outer seals removed. Still has working rear brakes and all chain slides. I'm assuming his new axle bearings, chain, chain guides, lower gearing, different dyno tires.... Could make a hp difference. I sent him two dyno passes. I thought it showed run info on top of my exported graphs but it doesn't. On my screen it does show it. That's why I didn't send him a detailed report on mtr info. I can send it at anytime needed. Sorry for Tyler being a little man I cannot fix that problem. Cam
  12. I hate to post in this thread but i think I need to. I built a 4mm stock cylinder for frank earlier this year April I believe. We spoke many times about the build and what kind of kind of mtr would best suite him. We decided to build a 4mm use his cylinders and re chamber his stock head for race gas. I would receive mtr disassemble do all machine and port work reassemble and dyno. He had a 1987 quad he had just picked up so I was assuming a worn out mtr in complete disrepair. But to my complete surprise it was a fantastic mtr hardly any wear. We did a 4mm crank with max load bearing, pro mod tranny with Shift Pro kit, aggressive dune port, advance timing, v 4 reeds, re chambered stock head to race gas this is basic list of major items. We used a set of stock carbs he provided to setup and dyno with. I also choose CPI inframe pipes for this build. He was wanting a all around to race and dune with so I like the CPI power curve with stock cylinders. I got mtr done and on the dyno started with 330 main and 30 pilots. Well I thought I had installed 30 pilots but i must of grabbed 25 pilots instead. Completely my screw up. But as I was messing with carbs on dyno the top threaded section was not great on one carb so I recommended Frank to use his original carbs since rest of mtr was so nice. This was my first screw up on pilot jets which I did not catch before shipping. I dynoed mtr rest of way and choose 350 mains with stock carbs and stock needles in mid position. We use 330-350 mains on our dunes at sea level all the time. So after I checked it with my AFR gauge I was happy. Right about 13-1 where it is critical. It will be lean before because banshees are a non accelerator pump carb to keep up with a roll on dyno run. It will be lean after peak power because of pipe not working efficiently with mtr setup past 9.5k. I was super stoked on mtr combo had great tq and good hp with a very friendly curve. I expressed my happiness with mtr to Frank and many other customers and friends. I pulled mtr and shipped to frank so he could have it the following weekend. frank wanted to pay by a money order instead of a CC. So with the time crunch I shipped mtr out in UPS without being paid. Frank promised me I'd receive a money order Sat delivery which I did. We were both happy his mtr was in transport and i was paid. Frank received mtr a week from day I shipped and all was safe and sound. He ended up missing his first trip from other parts not arriving from other vendors. I sent dyno chart to frank that I posted above to show how mtr ran. He installed and switched parts out from dyno carbs I had used. CPI drop shipped his new inframes and he was ready to go. He took bike to a local shop to dynoed. On the other dyno he had lower hp and was super lean. I asked a few questions and said sorry for jetting issues. Explained I had ran air fuel here and was safe with 350 . he stated he had to go to 400 main to get good AFR. I think he came out at 72hp and 42 tq. I said as long as your happy I am happy. Most of our communication is thru txt messages at this point. He texted me after his first ride or two and said after about 10 races it finds a false neutral between gears and has a hard time shifting. He had others ride it with same results. I suggested clutch may be getting hot or its under geared possibly and to try launching in 3rd. If it bogs clutch is hooking good and gearing is probably pretty close. If it takes off with no hesitation clutch may be slipping or to low geared. also said if you rev bike up in gear that creates alot of heat and can cause problems This was our last contact end of June. Last txt from him was " runs Strong. keeps up with a 4mm cub and 35's and CPI". I assume all is well, now we are at present. I see this thread and am taken back by some comments. By no means am I perfect but I strive to deliver a solid proven product. Can I always make all items perfect NO but I will try to help any way possible. So I call Frank mid week to discuss his discontent with me and my build. He stated in a quick summary to me jetting, shifting and now domes. He stated to me he had clutch taken out and shifting inspected to find shifting issue. He traced it down to lighter detent spring that I supplied with Pro Mod tranny. All my kits come with Shift Pro kit unless customer specifies otherwise. I have heard people complain about shifter being to easy. But way more like how easy it shifts. This now cost him more money to fix this shifting issue. He said his local guy said domes were way to tight and needed to be changed. Frank did say bike would run 200 degrees at times.he was having no detonation issues that he new of & no plugs loosing. I stated I had set domes up at about .035-.040 squish and at 12.5cc trapped volume. This would be about 16-1 comp ratio i'd guess 180+ - comp kicking. On a aggressive race gas mtr I am assembling I will run them pretty tight on stock cylinders. So now he had to get a new head when he paid me to cut a head. More money spent after paying me to build mtr. I will take full blame for the pilot jets, I screwed up and told him I made a mistake. As for the main jets I can't explain why he had to go to 400 mains to get good AFR reading. I dyno mtrs and jet them for all over the country and other countries Ive never had to may complaints on what I send out. On the shifting I stated to him that's part of the kit and sorry it didn't work out for him. On the head I told him exactly how I set it up and why I choose to set it up that way. He was irritated he had to spend more money to fix a mtr he paid me good money to build. I called him and apologized for the issues that have came up with his build. This post is not to bash on Frank or anyone else it's just to tell what happened with our transaction. Thanks Cam Typing and translating thoughts into words is not my strong point. Sorry to all you grammar Nazis for my mistakes.
  13. Sorry you suck. Need them on a good bike/ rider combo.
  14. When I did these cylinders they were mine. I made 110hp with these. But it will need reeds and carbs to do this.
  15. I got new ones PM me if still interested.
  16. If you can't find used I have new ones instock.
  17. You really need slicks to compare dyno runs between bikes. Ive tried to run nobbies years ago and it was very inaccurate. A set of slicks will prob raise numbers 10-20%. You can check for slippage with gear ratio/ rpm on left column and speed on lower column. If line on screen isn't flat it's slipping and numbers are skewed.
  18. IMO she's not exactly worthless. I'm sure we could find something she could do.
