  1. 21cc domes on mine
  2. I have a drag port 421 with 39's and everything else the same and I am running 55 pilots and 185 mains at Glamis
  3. I can't wait any longer- me and 4 buddies are heading out to Gordon's tomorrow evening and staying until Saturday or Sunday. Ride early morning until it gets hot and then again in the evening/night
  4. I prefer the squeeze bottle version- easier to apply
  5. How did this event turn out?
  6. Doug at D&M knows his chit, but obviously buying anything used is a gamble. Doug is easily reached and is here in the Phoenix area and is also who built my bike.
  7. X2
  8. Can you run one with a 15 tooth front? Also, do you remove the plastic thing held by 3 little screws when you install it or does the saver go over it?
  9. Because of the thicker blade do the extremes hinder the tire growing at top RPM's though? I've had a couple of shops tell me they do (meaning haulers have more top end), but not sure if they just wanted to see the cash register open and have my cash go in it OR if there is some truth to this. I'm sure it's all relative though depending on sand conditions, distance of race, etc. But again, I flat drag at Gordon's and Glamis and also at the hills at both locations.
  10. If I buy SLS Triple Buff paddles, which are better for my 4mill drag port cub? Will be used 50% of the time at the sand drags at Glamis and Gordon's and 50% at the hills. Let me know what you guys prefer and why- Thanks!
  11. We didn't pull in until friday early afternoon, but it was the same- empty
  12. which part of gordon's? I was there the weekend of the 6th and the whoops were deeeeeeeep
  13. I assume it's a drag bike based on the length of the swinger and the previous paddles being ran- i'd say it depends on whether you're running flat drags or at the hill and your weight compared to the previous owner.
  14. I'll be out there, but not sure if my banshee is going. Will depend on whether my suspension gets done in time. If not I'll be on my black yfz 450 with a Rossier pipe. I have a silver lifted dodge and a white enclosed trailer. Swing by and drink a beer
  15. Ya on my first banshee w/ T5's and a pro design foam filter I was running a 290 main. Just to be safe try a 310 and work your way down.
  16. Do you have a k&n pro design intake in the stock air box or is it a toomey style intake? Hopefully it's not just a k&n slid down like the stock foam filter attached. I'd say the mains should probably be in the 290-310 range, but if it runs good as is at your elevation you might just want to leave it alone and try it when you pull it off the trailer and see how "shee" does.
  17. Sounds like you're on the fat side as is with those mains and elevation unless it's ported. If it runs good now i'd leave it alone unless it's acting funny or the plugs aren't brown after running it bit there.
  18. Prior to mine being drag ported w/ the same set up, except with 20cc domes, mine was dyno tuned and it ended up w/ a 168 main. It's been a while so I don't remember the pilot, but it does have the 55's in it now so probably a tad leaner then. Also, it previously had the CEL needle in the middle spot. I'm in Phoenix at about 1100 elevation and it was about 85 the day they tuned it.
  19. I often wonder the same thing- LOL
  20. I believe Spark's website has jetting suggestions, but the other suggestions were right on. Start w/ the 175 main though.
  21. Use a zip tie around the back of the pods and run them thru the gap between the frame and subframe to avoid them calling off. I was tired of the zip ties so eventually i found a long piece of velcro when I had stock carbs.
  22. Definitely too much oil in the gas and you sound too rich on the main jet. I'd think you should be in the 330 range for mains
  23. I'd say your pilot is too rich and your main is too lean....go back to the stock pilot and try the 280. All the banshees I've owned never had the air box though. How is it running as is?
  24. This is a quote from the FAST website and I actually found this to be true long before I read this: Also works to lean down a a Rich condition at higher altitudes instead of jetting. Same concept if you are safely jetted for 40 degree temps and it's in the 80's or 90's
  25. I use 1 bottle for 5 gallons- Haven't had any issues with it, but again I know I'm set up on the rich side unless it's very cold out
