  1. Went riding again for the first time since my crash at new years. What a thrill Happy to report I'm pretty much back to normal now.
  2. Hey Guys Crashed at Gordon's Well in socal over new years weekend and im pretty banged up. Broken right collar bone and bruised ribs. It was my second time on the sand riding with some coworkers ive never camped with before. I was out of my comfort zone most of the weekend and finally ate it on our second day. Follow advice on this forum and don't be stupid like me and ride outside of your comfort zone.
  3. Hey Guys Last week we went on a pretty long ride and I ran out of gas in my banshee a few miles from our campsite. We were in pretty deep sand wash and didn't think there was any way of recovering my banshee other than towing it with the blaster. After being towed for about a mile my brothers blaster (which was obviously struggling dragging my banshee through the sand) died and it started to smoke out of the piston. We let it sat for about 15minutes and then kicked it, it turned over first kick but now it knocks really bad. What did we do? How can I troubleshoot how bad the piston is? Just waned to get your opnion. Thanks
  4. Hi Guys Last friday I picked up my first banshee, a used 2003 that was in stellar shape. I am wondering what would you guys do after purchasing a used quad. What fluids should I change? What should I adjust? I changed the gas when I took it home and took it out to ocotillo for a few hours of riding today. I already am planning to change the air filter and adjust the chain. It runs very well but I want to make sure everything is fresh and adjusted properly to avoid any possible damage. I read through the stickies and will read through the owner/service manual over the next few days. I appreciate the help guys and cant wait to spend more time on my banshee
