  1. I'm in the same boat, be thankful u can at least play video games. I just had reconstructive wrist surgery so I can't do anything. Not being able to work is bad enough but no video games sucks lol one good thing bout military is I still get paid even when I can't work. But I've just been watching a lot of Netflix and movies. And surfing the hq
  2. i thought the same thing as you until i went to change my wifes sprockets on her yfz450r. no masterlink, confused the hell outta me lol had to use the old bicycle trick to get the chain back on the new sprockets
  3. I'm not blaming them at all I know a helmet is only good for one crash like I said before I'm cheap so if they wud give me a new one I'm not gonna say no lol and obviously if they dnt I'll buy a new one I dnt think u guys understand What I'm asking. I just wanted to kno bout warranties I'm nit saying it's there fault I wrecked
  4. yea it did do its job i was jw if i could get a replacement cuz im a cheap bastard lol but i was practicing for a race in a couple weeks and there is a section with two 25 ft doubles then about a 125 ft tabletop that you can either land halfway or clear the whole thing and when i came off the second double i thought i had enough speed to clear it and i came bout 5 ft short on the tabletop. the landing dislocated and broke my wrist and tore my tendons. i hit my helmet on my handlebars and it broke my helmet at the chin/mouth guard area. then it threw me off and the bike went into a barbed wire fence. worst part is a race my wifes yfz cuz my shee is setup for dunes and the first thing she says to me when i tell her im goin to the ER is "is my bike ok?" lol cud have been a lot worse but like you guys said thankfully the helmet and other safety gear worked
  5. so i got in a pretty gnarly wreck yesterday and i ended up breaking my helmet. its an oneal 7 series helmet and i cant find anywhere online with info. does anybody know what kind of warranty comes with their products? thanks for any help!
  6. i got a 4 mill from hjr and he does great wor completely satisfied with it. that being said i was told i would b able to run stock carbs but once i got it back together i kept having an issue at WOT i thot it was electrical cuz no matter wat i changed my jetting to it wud have the same issue, turns out my float bowl was runnin dry. i ended up getting a set of 35mm pwk's and cured the problem right up. so i would definantly get new carbs so you dnt get frustrated like i did haha, ur gonna love the work from kevin!
  7. So I had a problem last night. I'm rebuilding a banshee for a friend of mine and I had the top end off. Well I had a towel over the crankcase so nothing would fall down in there. Well last night my wife grabbed the towel to wash it and today I have a bunch of leaves in the crankcase. Now is there something I could pour down in there that would dissolve the leaves but not hurt the seals or am I going to have to completely tear it apart now? I know I shouldn't take the easy route but I really wanna get this up and running for him asap. Any help would be great!
  8. Ya I hear ya this will be the first I get to open up my 4 mill as well! I've never been there before this will be my first time there so I'm not sure where I'll park haha
  9. have to say kevin does great work as well! finally got to try out my 4 mm today, amazing fastest bike ive ever riddden, so much power it snapped my chain, granted it was an old chain but still haha :headbang:
  10. I was in your same boat, I've been waiting on all my parts since febuary I keep needing like one extra part each time n it takes like 3 weeks for parts to be sent to me haha. Finally got it finished up today actually. But anyway if you do end up going I'd love to meet up with you, always nice to ride with fellow bhq members!
  11. well im going to kermit for my first time next sunday and i was wondering if anyone else is going to be there? im really excited to finally really be able to open up my new 4 mill!

    Goggle's

I use the Oakley crowbars when I race and they do pretty well, it hasn't rained here in like 4 months so the track gets really dusty but they hold up pretty well
  13. I've seen cbr motors in frames before but never body parts as well, definantly different
  14. I noticed you said tether kill switch, you planning on racing it? Always nice to see a fellow banshee out there at the track! Also I'd ditch the boost bottle, many can agree with me on this one. Welcome to the HQ!
  15. I've seen some nice used fullbores on eBay or craigslist you just have to search for it. Also my local shop sometimes gets used plastics in for cheap you can check that out
  16. so i just put on some 35mm carbs. first my pods were rubbing so i ordered a set of cascade heat wraps. now i got it on and started it up and actually runs good for the first time in about 6 months. however when i give it throttle it hesitates for a second then goes back down. now i used my cable i ran in my stock carbs with tors eliminator, i was told it would be fine. is that true or could that be an issue, or is there a different issue im running into?
  17. I run a lectrics 200 watt stator for the last 2 years and I've had no issues at all with it, plus the stator itself has an adjustment on it so I can run +4 timong
  18. Yea I kno cascade innovations I'm from that area, how does the heat wrap work? That's what I was originally thinking of doing if it'll work and won't burn my outerwears.
  19. so i just got my new carbs in (35mm pwks) and when i put them on i could barely fit the air filters on as there was like no room. once i finally did get them put on they were resting on the exhaust pipes. is there anything i can do about this? i thought about getting the filters that are angled but those wont work because they are literally touching each other so they wont be able to angle in. what have you guys done with this issue? thanks!
  20. I agree with big red, I've never used a flywheel holder I just use my impact gun and as long as you use a impact socket you don't have to worry about rounding off any bolts
  21. Ok what I'm doing is turning te flywheel until the magnet pulls the little tab out then measuring it with my feeler gauge. Just to make sure I'm not having a brain fart the pickup coil is the little black piece on the outside of the flywheel towards the bottom right side correct?
  22. I might have to bend it cuz I have no way to round out the hole, just loosening the screws isn't enough it was really far out of whack
  23. Ok so I've searched a bunch of places and everywhere I find it, all it says is the proper gap. So my question is my gap was way off, how do I adjust it? I loosened the 2 Phillips heads and I can't move it forward enough to get the right gap. Any helP is appreciated!!
