    so lean the needle also. I plan to get JJH needles, should I still go middle clip?

    I have 30 mm OKO carbs on my banshee, mods in sig. I think my main is 168 now. I had a hesitation before the power band, I put the lid on to rule out being lean, and it runs better now. how many sizes up should I go to be safe with the air lid off?

    Its definitely not a lean condition if the kill switch stopped it. Get rid of them stock carbs

    A little input for you. To get fuel out of the carb, there has to be air flowing through it. If there is no air flowing through the carb, fuel is not going to majically get into the engine. The engine will consume all the fuel that was in the crank case and go on a lean revving rampage!!

    Just dont short the cap. They go boom!!! I think you need to run the output of the reg to the negative of a small battery (like 6 amp/hours) then run your lights from that.

    and what kind of rectifier are you using?

    put the ohm meter on the harness. Voltage doesn't magically drop with out resistance.

    If you are near water get rid of K&N junk!! Oiled 2 stage foam filter is the only way to go!!!

    If the voltage drop occurs only after going through the rectifier, that's most likely your cause. Check the resistance of it?

    Does anyone have a wiring diagram done for the DC conversion I could look at? For this one I would just connect both yellow ones to the battery? Does it matter? and would the red one go to the negative terminal of the battery?
