Well if the carb are set up for alky that is what it will do flood the motor out on gas. Check the jets you stated 180 but is it realy 180 or did the ass clown drill it out to make is own alky jet? When you buy a banshee from a ass clown you will need to go back to basics for checking shit out.

Looks to me the pins in the new & old conter are the same. So I would try to pull the pins out of the new conter & put them back in the old conter. That way you do any soldering. And if the pins are diffrent the just cut & solder as stated above.
The stops are at the bottom of the steering stem @ the lower bearing on the frame. Just like Fouledout421 said they get bent forward. Just need to straighten it back up & you should be good to go. Also you will have to replace any worn parts like bushing & ball joint that will help out a lot.

The flywheel can be high keyed. This means the crank key moved when you put the fly wheel back on & make the fly wheel off center & rub the coil pick up in spots.
