First off welcome to BHQ. Post up some pic of your ride for us to see. My old set up was like yours & I too needed more HP. So I did what Builder told you to do. I pulled the cylinder & had HJR do dune/play port to them & she is runner now for me! It did not change my fuel usage much. Good luck & keep us updated on your build. WFO

I am running a +4 swinger. I had the stock shock with it not so good. I had MATT re-valve it & put a Eibach spring in it for my 240ass & now it is great.

I would also upgrade to the billet water pump gear from Mull http://mullengineering.com/. Just my 2ct

I would go with a billet intake. Some yamabond 4 or a good sealer and they wont leak at all. I have a set of boss billet intake on my shee & I have had no Problem with them.

First off check for broken impeller do this by checking coolant flow with the radiator cap off & looking to see if the coolant is moving with the motor at about 2,000 RPM or pulling the pump cover. Make sure you not idling to long and you have the proper jetting. Good upgrade Billet impeller & billet pump gear, over sized radiator, using engine ice. The spikes are sharp. I was thinking of just knocking the tips off of them. Just to tone them down a little bit. I think they will tear up the boot fast or eat you up if you were to eat sh@# on the bike.

Well Guys I got my Pegs last night in the mail. I can only say WOW These pegs are better looking here in my hand then in the pic's. I can not wait to put them on the bike go for a spin.
