  1. So because he has 2 stroke in his shop name, that must make him a 2 stroke god because not just anyone can own a company with 2 stroke in their name.
  2. They wont. They are not good for anything. If you want wider, use a-arms. Spacers will increase arm pump from hitting bumps. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  3. One thing I haven't seen mention (maybe I just missed it) is a steering damper. This will help out IMO. I know tyler's yfzr could have used one when I rode it. But I will agree, riding that stock yfzr, I just felt more comfortable while riding it than I have on any banshee.
  4. Don't switch to 100 octane, will just be pissing money away for nothing. Have you tried a 27.5?
  5. This is the setup you want. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  6. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1981-Ex440-Yamaha-Ex-440-Exciter-Aluminum-Intake-Manifold-8g7-13505-00-00/392072991374?epid=27008851480&hash=item5b495f128e:g:9doAAOSwLkJa2zEN:sc:USPSPriority!41018!US!-1 It doesn't bolt right on, you will have to drill the hole pattern correctly.
  7. I wish I still had all my pictures and someone didn't fuck up BHQ, but this is the manifold. It just isn't complete. I had great pictures of what it should look like. It do need some rework.
  8. I would say 35mm.
  9. Still, shit manifold.
  10. First, you should worry about chassis setup. Suspension is way more important than max power for MX. You don't need max power. You need reliable power. You really don't need a 4mil for MX. You need to make sure the porting on the cylinder isn't for top end power. Don't use trinity manifold as it sucks. Yamaha makes the best single carb manifold. Talk to david.
  11. Ya, if frenchie can do it, anyone can.
  12. You have to gape that gap, nothing like gaping the hole in the thigh gap.
  13. No drain in my living room
  14. How much water are you pulling out of the air each day? IIRC, and they are both like 70 quarts, around 50-60 gallons a day.
  15. I would love 50% humidity. The average daily humidity for me has be 71%. The average daily high is 98%. It is just fucking humid here. I have been running 2 dehumidifiers in my house that past week and I empty them twice a day. They are roughly 30 gallons between them.
  16. pipe butter, is that what you are calling it now?
  17. Pipes will be rusted and holes before 2019.
  18. Put WD40 on the night before riding too. Helps keep mud from sticking to the raw pipes.
  19. Yes, alcohol is cheaper per a gallon than most race fuels. Yes there is a difference in gas mileage. There can be more wear and tear. Purging. Shelf life. Availability.
  20. You don't have to give all the info, but give the main points. 421 serval built by FAST racing FMF pipes PWK38MM carb on 2-1 manifold ELKA front and rear shocks etc. No one really cares about a billet gas cap and those basic mods. it is a nice quad, but just make sure you give the correct info. As for the zilla top end, there are a few people out there that can make it run great. Jerry aka HRP makes a great pipe and can really wake the jug up. Mitch us to make some good pipes but I think he is out. Shearer pipe is also good. LED can work the jug. I personally don't like Q as I think he is a fraud. AAEN makes a cheap pipe that is better than the basic ones. Really, anyone that understands porting and PV can wake up a zilla.
  21. It is very easy to base it on the ad when that is all we have to go on. When you don't list everything or show it in the pictures, very easy to base it on the only thing, the ad. But the main thing, "no expense spared" when that is clearly not the case. Just be honest in the ad and stop lying. It will sell itself, no need to make things up to sell it.
  22. Why do people say this "$10000 in upgrades no expense was spared" when it is never true? full custom adjustable ELKA suspension - stage 3 are not custom nor fully adjustable Lonestar racing billet swing arm 1" shorter than stock - not billet
  23. There is no such thing as vaporation or pre-detonation. There is evaporation and vaporization. Then there is pre-ignition and detonation. Please know the correct terms. You do know that when the fuel vaporizes inside the cylinder, it actually lower the temperature and decrease the chance of pre-ignition. This is why direct injection is become very popular and allowing engine manufacture to run higher compression ratios. People need to understand, heat isn't a bad thing in engine. Maybe so can read up on this https://www.scribd.com/document/72372270/Vaporized-Fuel-Injection-System
