  1. looks great . You'll love it
  2. yeah and the stock head , stock tank , stock pipes , and stock shocks on that other bike are soooooooo valuable ..... I think the only thing i'm sitting on is a cock
  3. the gas tank is worth $200 cool head is $ 200 . How much are the shocks worth ? If it's got good compression and the tors is gone maybe offer $1200
  4. get a stroker . It would be stupid to invest $400 into a stock crank
  5. ahhaha....you could pull one of the plug wires off....or put stock pipes on it
  6. thicker base gaskets will make it worse... Shave some off the bottom of the cylinder
  7. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=145300
  8. make your squish .040 " . measure your sguish on both * SIDES* (not front n back ) of both pistons and use the smallest measurement of the four . Make sure you use all your gaskets . The old ones would be best cuz they're .... Squished
  9. It would look a lot tougher with some mud on it
  10. the going rate is $45 per hole . I called a few shops by me ... they were all the same . One was a little cheaper if you got your pistons from them .
  11. How to check squish ? Plug chop
  12. the front peices move the bottom shock mount out closer to the tire the back one goes between the swingarm anf the lil linkage thing ... I think ........ O wait .. I mean I'm too fuckin busy for your fuckkin question use the fuckin search ffffffuuuuuuucccccckkkkkkk!!!
  13. WTF ??? You want this guy to run stock carbs BAAAADDD , huh ?
  14. Dome design and compression ratio determine octane . Neither of those are affected by elevation. I would buy 20cc noss domes if I didn't have a shaved head
  15. Elevation has nothing to do with octane . figure out your uccr ....shoot for 12.5
  16. Unless you are on a budget don't go with stock cylinders . Stock cylinders were obsolete before they even started making the banshee
  17. Are you talking about chamfering ? You do have to chamfer the ports after a bore job . The guy doing the bore should do it . After a bore the port openings will have a sharp edge , chamfering is just rounding that edge so your rings don't snag it
  18. those pistons are a poor mans port job . If your cylinder are also ported ...you have 2 port jobs worth of exhaust duration . Which will do what you are saying
  19. you have to much sugar in your cake man ! Get rid of the pistons . Those pistons raise exhaust duration , if you have some porting done youmight have a drag motor
  20. P.s.i doesn't have anything to do with octane . Your compression tester is just a tool to tell you how healthy you top end is . I read a thread on another site that was about exactly this same situation . It sounded to me like 19cc *NOSS* domes are safe for pump gas . The way it sounded , noss domes are a better design than others . It also sounded like 19cc was boarder line safe . If this guy had a 64mm bore and you have a 66mm bore ...you may wish you would have stuck with 20cc
  21. Power Pac in Marshfield . Call Arts and tell them to get one ....they have everything else
  22. if you want cheap just shave your stock head go here http://www.sacoriver.net/~red/squish.html shave your head to make your squish .040" . Napa shaved mine for $35 . i ended up buyin a cool head tho and throwing that 35 bucks away you can carve out your stock stator plate to advance your timing http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=137560&pid=1230600&st=0entry1230600
