  2. Jetting is obviously easier with a single carb as far as labor goes. But how bout accuracy? Would that affect dyno results?
  3. Wouldn't the check valve be the reeds ? I have a graydon and that's totally different than trinity. Better ? Idk. snop-shiz-in-ski says they're all junk and has charts to prove it
  4. If you think of the mix as water I would think that the manifold would be full all the time provided you have a big enough carb the higher the rpm the better
  5. go buy a tor-k wench theres only bout 50 bolts on the whole bike then get rid of tors or buy sum carbs. get rid of your airbox. parts store will shave your head for $30. find some cheap used pipes just to try. youll have 5 sets before you know it i dont studer just dint know about page 2
  6. theres olny like 50 bolts on tjjhe whole bike go buy a tor-k wrench start by geting rid of shit tors n air box ditchin your air box means you gota tear your carbs apart
  7. ok idid some tests coil primary the meter drops past 0. i cant get any reading on the secondary needle wont move . plug caps /wire are at bout 1 1/2 (1500ohms?). pickup coil the needle goes past 0 also . is my stuff junk? not sure if im doin it right . how do i test the stator she was lookin pretty ruff last time i saw it ?

  9. Just kidding. I got a stock head its been shaved .030. Guy I got it from said it had a few nicks which it does big nicks. Along with the nicks there is what looks like a "rash ?". All on the left side squish band. Dude said the nicks were from chunk of spark plug he didn't mention the rashy lookn shit is that from deto ? Just on one side ? I was thinkin bout gluing some sand paper to an old piston to try to fix it ? Any pointers "other than buy a $300 cool head " would be great !
  10. Shees runnin rich its just not cuz of the jetting maybe weak spark ill check compression warm and cold n see what my Lil frog tells me
  11. No it runs good after sittin for 10 min starts the same tho. Compression cold is 125 haven't checked it warm. Runs great in the power band after playn in the power band for a bit its much easier to get into the power band also.
  12. Brand new top end compression is good. Not reeds ? Didn't check spark. Weak stator? Maybe ? Frog pussy is great tastes like copennagen !
  13. I can't make her run right. I never have to use the choke starts first kick when cold takes 4 and some throttle when she's warm. If I let her sit 10 min once warm she runs good for 30 second after she sounds rappy not like a bumble bee its not jetting been all over with jetting. Plugs are wet. I notice there is a slight gap between reed petals n cages would that cause this ? I did a leak test shees tight .... Like frog pussy
