Josh's (cottonbranch) savers are geared more towards the 530 chain/high HP guys. His actually wrap around the leading edge lip of the cases, which I think is a good idea, and his are also made to only work with 1 or 2 sprocket sizes because it will guarantee that the chain cannot bind inside the sprocket area, it will simply feed itself out. On the big HP motors a chain break/bind often equals a 2500 dollar broken tranny and multiple other issues as the shock makes its way through the drivetrain. Are they spendy? Yep. Are they worth it? Yep. Another reason the price is so high is they are all hand made and hand ground to fit your chain/sprocket size.
