  1. paddle/rim set-up make a pretty big differnce.. if he is running a superlite series tire and you guys are running a 20-10-10 tire combo then that is a lot more rotating mass. Set up is one on the most important factors. The difference could be gearing. But, you never know, he could have done a little porting and jetted his stock carbs for it and that would make a big difference. There's a lot to factor in. JMO.
  2. PM chassisincfab.com, he is Gobigorgohome on here. He sells the HID kits and makes the battery boxes for them as well and can hook you up on everything you need
  3. Sounds like your talking about Fox Floats. gloss black shocks that look like marvins but ride 100% smoother.
  4. so a group with several big DM and DMX banshee's and fast 4 pokes should probably go to Utah?
  5. Is there still some good banshee and four poke racing at Sand Mountain Nevada? My group of about 20 were thinking on heading that way next summer during one of the holiday weekends?
  6. The tree shot about 150-200 yards north on banshee hill has been there for about 2 years. It goes from the bottom all the way to the top. There is also alot of nice similiar tree shots out by the resivor that looks out at the lake across hwy 101. Those tree shots go all the way down to Hwy101 but not many people know about them because there isn't usally to many tracks going down there, especisally in the winter or early spring when the sand is super steap and saturated due the the winter months but their there. Really fun and probably some of the most challenging on the oregon coast, need some tire spin or a swingarm for sure. Check them out next time your there!
  7. ever get anything painted?
  8. I hate to say it but Sandfest this year was not a success at all. A few people who have noticed how unorganized and poorly planned this event was this year have stepped in and gotten involved to try and make it a better succes for next year. For those of you who plan on it to be like Dunefest need to calm there horses as that will not happen anytime soon. However a event that is very similiar with a quater of the people that can be a blast is more promising for next year. I came down this year to race and didn't due to how unsafe it was with little to no shut down plus there was no agenda on what started when. The couple of ATV/Dune enthusuiasts that have steppend in to help out for next year should make it a lot better then the past years. One good thing is that it has been a free event so a special thanks goes out to all those who have donated money, time and supplies/tools to make this event happen. As for everyone else, I Look forward to next year and it should be better then ever!
  9. Boxcar hill /Heads up test and tune Saturday September 4th at about 1pm to whenever. Direct Drive/ Fullbore/ UPP/ and Jacobsen Fab will be setting up a timing system with starting lights/ mph and 300ft times. The hill will be 2 lanes, fenced off and groomed. Atv’s must wear a helmet. This is just for fun-won’t cost anything to make passess. We might have a donation bucket at the hill for fuel to groom the lanes. Everyone is welcome to come and make as many passess as possible. We will all be doing the best that we can, but things do go wrong, just don’t whine if they do,remenber this is all for fun. Bring your toys and see how fast they really are. The more people that show up the better to help make this a success!! Thanks Any questions / ask Jeff L(jlevasseur) or e-mail [email protected]

  12. you should come to the south side of the 500 for some friendly racing and b.s.ing...
  13. Just letting everyone know that people will be gathering at the same place as they did for Raptor Ralley for some outlaw hill shooting/racing for the weekend of Dunefest if anyone is interested. They will still be having the 300' organized racing for those of you who feel like waiting all day and racing against a LT 80. Check out www.dunefest.com for those of you who don't know what it is. Just thought I'd spread the word for those of you who are interested in some hill shooting. Thought I'd try and get something going anyway.....

  16. Cascade doesn't chrome used pipes. Even if the bike was jetted correctly or even rich they would blue by the exhaust manifolds because the factory CPI chrome is only single plated. If you find a chromer to triple plate them for you they will look a lot better and also hold up against the heat a lot better. I had two set of CPI's, one show chromed and the other factory chrome, the difference was night and day. Gobigorgohome on here does chroming and will chrome used pipes, might pm him...jmo.
  17. ttt.........$400 plus the ride....
  18. I know most of the motor builders in oregon will be there including white knuckle, redline, direct drive ect..... Looks like there is no orgainized racing this year but most people race near campsite 107 and 108 at horsfall by the old bark road day use if anyone is up to some freindly compitition..
  19. here's a couple. I built the orange one from stock and the blue and green one was built by WK racing. one play, one drag to stuff in the trailer...
  20. Race cut banshee plastic painted black with red fire. Was painted for my play bike but decided on a different design. The clear coat could use another wet sand and buff as there are some minor flaws in the clear coat. $500 + the ride. thanks Thanks to Lew at ChassisIncfab.com for all the help!!!
