  1. Thanks guys. I was worried because of the 220 lb weight limit it has. I'll make him watch the next time we're riding. I'm sure he'll find something to do. He loves the power so maybe that will be an incentive to loose some weight.
  2. My BIL is 450 lbs and rode my Banshee a few times. Question is, is he killing my shee? I just put a new crank and top end in and it hauls ass with him on it but.... What do you guys think?
  3. I used a flat head screwdriver and a dremel. Huge PITA but I got it out.
  4. Just picked up an 04 YZ 250. Any good sites out there like this one? I've learned a ton about my Banshee from here and want to do the same for my new toy.
  5. I'm needing a trailer for my Banshee and YZ250. Anybody hauling this combo? Need to know a good trailer size that works best.
  6. Wondering what most do when they are done riding....do you turn the gas off and run the bike till it quits or just park it, turn it off, and turn the gas off?
  7. I've only ran a Pro Design 2 piece. The studs were a piece of cake to replace. Take two nuts, lock em down and remove the studs. I've also had my cylinders bored with the Pro Design studs in. Didn't have to remove them. I'm sure both setup's are great.
  8. Looking for a Toomey Hush Kit for my T5's.
  9. Couldn't agree more on the Clymers. Just got done rebuilding my motor and the Clymers walked me thru step by step.
  10. Just rebuilt my motor and I forgot to install my shift shaft oil seal (which my gasket kit didnt come with). Does anyone see any problems with installing the oil seal with the shaft in place? I already have the old seal out.
  11. After rebuilding top and bottom end, I noticed my water pump cover is leaking. It's a brand new gasket that came in my kit for the rebuild. Have yet to even crank her up. Can I put some ThreeBond on the gasket to seal it up?
  12. Does anyone have pics of the top of their case/motor so I can see how the vent lines are ran and all other cables for a rebuild I’m doing?
  13. I'm no expert on the tranny but I just got done doing a rebuild and had the same exact problem as you. Was worried but went ahead and put it all back together. Once I put the chain back on and had someone roll the back wheels, I was able to hit all gears.
  14. Thanks guys. After putting the wheels in motion, was able to hit all gears!!!
  15. So I did a complete rebuild (crank and top end but removed the trans completely) and have yet to start her up. Still need to attach pipes, carbs, and chain. My question is, should I be able to shift in all gears? I'm able to find first, neutral, second, third, and sometimes fourth but that’s it. I don’t remember how hard or easy it was shifting with the bike not running.
  16. I run 20cc domes so that I can stay on pump gas. I have the usual mods, pipes, k&n....
  17. That's awesome guys. Thanks for all the help.
  18. I know this is a stupid question, just want to make sure I do it right. I'm putting my case back together this weekend and I'm not 100% sure on where all I need to put down the Yamabond. My Clymers doesn’t really show exactly where it all goes. Any help would be appreciated. Pics would be great.
  19. I'm running a Fluidyne and agree....top notch quality. Toomey doesnt make their rad anymore. They were my first choice but I'm very pleased with Fluidyne.
  20. Got ya. Yes it does have three orings. I was thinking that was the case. Thanks for the reply.
  21. Replacing my crank and noticed that my Wiseco crank only has one knock pin on the clutch side. Shouldnt I have four?
  22. Got it. Thanks everybody.
  23. No I didnt do the mod. I agree, doesnt look seated right. I need a picture.
  24. I'm in the process of reassembling my motor and have a question about the stopper lever. Does the pic look like I've installed it right? My concern is that the washer is in the right place on the outside like that in between the pegs. Hope this makes sense. http://i834.photobucket.com/albums/zz270/aldriggers/IMG00002-20091123-2348.jpg
  25. I'm thinking about switching to a +4 swingarm. My motor is stock, just the usual bolt on's. Will this hurt power? I like the look and I'd like to think it'll keep the front down a bit more. Anything else I should know?
