Does it have the TORS still on the carbs? If not, I take my filter off and put one finger on each throttle valve and feel which one is slow to open when I press the throttle. Then I adjust the nut on the carb caps. Much better to order the sync tool but it gets it close.
I'd check compression. I'm not sure about it cutting off but I couldn't get mine to start without pulling it and after taking the jugs off, I could take the pistons with the rings on it and just drop them thru the sleeves. Had it bored and rebuilt the top end now she screams!!!
Glad to know that I'm too weak (6'7, 250 lbs) :-) and that’s its normal for what I'm describing. I’ll check the adjustments and be done with it. Thanks guys.
It's an 06 and just bought it a month ago so I doubt anything has every been done to the clutch. It was stock except for pipes. I'm not sure if it's any different after I've been riding. I'll have to test this weekend. As far as the clutch actuator, I'm not sure. I'll have to check that. Is that the same as the "clutch align marks" that the manual talks about?
I bought an 06 Banshee that had these pipes and silencers installed. Need to get ride of them. They are in really good shape with little rusting. Asking $300 which includes shipping to the lower 48 states. Let me know if you have any questions.

I've noticed that when I have the clutch held in and also in gear, it feels like it's not letting go. I notice this when I'm trying to roll it down the ramps off the truck and just try to hold the clutch in so it can roll and it won't. I have to find neutral so it’ll roll. I also have a hell of a time finding neutral the majority of the time (running or not). I had a lot of slack in my clutch cable so I adjusted that and I'm still having the same issue. Any ideas or is this normal?
I'm switching the Toomey 2:1 intake so I'll be doing away with my stock air box. What do I do with the reservoir? I've thought about cutting the back side off the air box so I'd be able to bolt it and hang the reservoir off the back like it does now. Any suggestions?
Picked up an 06 Banshee. Had to send the jugs off to be bored and I was just thinking, I never saw any reed valves when taking everything apart. Could it be possiable the previous owner removed them? The bike would run, just wouldnt start without pulling it. Thats why I'm having it bored. Would it run without reed valves?
Thanks for the info. I got mine from eBay for $50. It's not hard at all to install, just take your time and READ THE DIRECTIONS. I f'd up, tried to over tap the hole and broke the tap inside the hole!!! When it stops, you might think you can tap it further, but STOP. I had to order a new carb because I didn
Just got my kit today. Question, do the springs press up into the new cap and I do away with the piece that the spring use to butt up against (the piece that use to go up into the cap)?
