  9. Is it possible for a stator to give an accurate test reading but still be bad?
  10. I just tested my stator it is fine. Read the correct ohm amount. I checked my new plugs they have a golden center electrode and the tip electrode was wet with fuel. Any opinion? Thanks alot guys
  11. I just replaced the whole electrical system besides the stator. Flywheel was replaced when I bought it and I just replaced the cdi/wire harness/coil/and plugs. I have checked the stator and other electrical components with a multimeter and it read out fine in between the appropriate ranges. I will run the tests again though. Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk
  12. Been going through a rebuild that has been giving me problems since day 1. I believe my problem is the jetting now. My bike falls on its face at the top. It wants to kick into the power but it wont. It gets to sounding like a ping then it seems as if I have a rev limiter. I went from 158 to 155 to 150 on the main and it seems as if progress is happening. I don't know what lean or rich sound like for the most part I have been learning as I go for the last 2 years. I was hoping to find a good YouTube video of examples but no luck Mild drag port/ bored over 20/ stock stroke Pwk 28s 150 mains 48 pilot middle notch in needle 600 ft above sea level T5s K&n pods (Tors and parking brake removed)
  13. I ended up getting a regular tether and I crossed the 4wires after the connector so I can remove it Thanks for the suggestions
  14. Hey guys, I cleaned up my wiring harness and I am curious as to where I can find a push button kill switch rather than the pull type. I want to remove the key also, if I under stand correctly I can cut the switch right before the connector and connect the black wires together then connect the brown/ red together? Or can I just cross the black&red wire with the black Wire before the connector? Thanks

  22. I owned a 400ex a few years ago and sold it and bought a banshee a year ago. The 400 felt like many other quads and didn't excite me. I guess for me personally, the banshee powerband cannot be replaced with any kind of 4 stroke efi combination.
  23. what does it take to make this conversion? I know obviously a rz350 or some similar swingarm/rear suspension of a motorcycle and most likely fabricating the frame a little bit but Does anyone know of an in depth tutorial of this conversion? Thanks
