allright alf44 um.. ya it is a stock head and before the rebuild i had it shaved um... idk would antifreze smoke rise into the air??? um... idk why it would be getitng into the cylinder though because it aint leaking from the head at all that is what i am stumped on and it if iwas the crank beaing would it be buring tranny oil??? and if the ring got bent woulndnt it run liek shit idk when u first start it it dont smoke much at all but when i went down the rode there it was smoking so much i couldnt see behind me but had all the power it did before and was runnig awsome

hey guys i am stumped and kinda getting mad..... i just did a top end two weeks ago and it is running awsome but now my probys is it is smoking like a bitch from the right side really bad not so bad on the left..... now last weekend i notice some colent coming from one of the studs so i quite riding it now today i retorque it liek u supose to do and some were alittle loose started it no leaks anymore ran awsome...... when u first start it it smokes likle it suppose to then once it is warm it starts smoking like white really bad out the right side now much out the left so my dad is like go open it up down the rode so i took it a couple miles down the rode. and it was smoking so bad from the right u couldnt see the rode barley so i turned around and went back shut it off took the plugs out looks lean alittle but it should make it smoke taht bad should it ??? looked at the plugs on the right side didnt seem to look liek any water was on it? could u see if water on it if it was leaking into the cylinder i am just stumped and dont know waht else it could be there is no leaks from the head anywere any help would be nice

i dont add it to the gaskets just the head bolts i put alittle locktit on thats about it

ya man same here no cops just roads freilds and gravel pits taht aint to bad for it i guss i paid 1250 for mine and it blew right away when i got it so i spent 400 right away so i got ripeed lol

hahaa i see how much are u looking on spending on this banshee what do they want for it and how much is done to it as far as mods like mine is pretty much stock and i paid 1200 for it but i had to rebuild it right away when i got it u said u were looking at a 94 u got any plans with it or just like me have a banshee to ride lol um.. u ever ride a banshee???

hey man welcome to the hq um... i am in the same bolt i am 15 goign to be 16 in may got my first banshee last april is a 87 as u can see in my picture..... um... there really aint no major problems with banshees if u take care of them but other why just a top end one compresson gets below 100 on each cylinder

ook well it looks blue but it is cold out side to so it could be smoking like alittle white becaue its cold,, but i smell it and it burns my noise kinda lol so u think it is just rich

guys i have a qustion if your banshee is smoking about does that mean u are running rich??? and what does antifreeze smell like if you are buring it and what does normal exhaust smell like i know its a dum qustion just want to know what the differace it seems like my banshee is smoking quit abit but i might have mixed my gas alittle rich but it looks blue

savage the problem was i had a bad hose that was leaking on the engine

hey guys just got the bike together from a total rebuild topend got new cylinders pistons all of that, started it up let it warm up went down the road for 100 yards...... ternd around got into the garage and the right side was leaking antifreze from two of the head bolts kinda geting frustarted becaue i shaveed my head got new cylinders and it is still leaking any suggestions would be appreacaited thanks chance

i would check yur right jug gasket i had the same thing on the left side the cyinder gasket was leaking on the bottom

ya were the cable comings into the carbs mine was pitched there and was making it rev super high

um i had the same problem and my throttle cable was pitch and wasnt letting it come back but the throttle thumb thing would come back just not the hole cable un pitched it and it was fine just a thought
