Guys I'm sorry no one told me that the base gasket don't do anything with compression but I'f the base gasket is leaking then the compression will go out

I my left side carb cap is striped

ya lol i so what do they look like are they the top of the carb thing that strews into the carb becasue on mine the retrard i bought it from striped the top of the carb

hey guys i have my base gasket for my left side and i have a compression tester now my ? is the right side is 125 compression and i cant do the left side because that is the side that is leaking so when i tear it apart how am i going to know if i need a top end if i cant check the comprssion on that side..... becaue when i got it the guys i bought it from just put new piston in the right side not the left ?????

this aint for me im was told to ask how do u tell if your engine is blown with out compression test or taking it apart

Check your throttle cable coming down to your carbs mine did that when that is pintch

o thats quite aways from here lol about 2 hrs or so haha

wasnt me i am the one that has the left jug gasket leaking i said that would have to be fixed

i have my 87 the one in my picture lol idk if iwant to sell ill think just rebuilt and um.. the only thing is the left jug gasket is leaking so that wil have to be fixed if i did sell it

idk ill put the tester on it im sure its high its only been used 6 hrs
