  1. Sometimes you have to reach in carb and line needle up with tube
  2. Going from 40:1 to 32:1 will lean the fuel a hair. Mix ratio is as debateable as which oil to burn or use in trans.

  5. I think most kits are useless, jets don't wear out, and most don't have the jets you need. If swapping moved the problem, there's a clue. As to the spark, a Bangshee uses a wasted spark, both plugs fire at same time, very hard/ to near impossible to tell cylinder the spark is for. i

  7. What's the pics of/for? I can never tell much by vids because of my hearing. One thing that jumps out is that you have to tune with how you will be running it. Lid off might not make much difference on idle circut, but then again, why chance it, jmho. Slide stops have no set "number" they set to where you want your idle speed. If you can feel when they touch slide, adjust so both are same. Air screw starts at 1 1/2 out from lightly seated, then tune from there. Mini vaca was nice.

  10. Way I see it you have two choices. Have crank inspected or have cases inspected by something a little more precise than the eye.

  13. What you need to do is adjust the slide stop screws/idle screws. That's the screws with locknuts on. It will raise the slide a hair.
  14. Made it through pg 2 so far Will go back later. When a tread gets to the bottom of page it kinda gets lost. And I forgot what most of it was about . I just put DMC's on my sons shee. Unported 4mil, thick head gasket, Vito's reeds, stock carbs, no TORS, K&N no lid. 300m, 30p, stock needle, middle clip, 1 1/2 air screw. About 900-1000 elev, in theMURDER MITTEN Might still play with A/S or needle, bit unclean 1/8 - 1/4 throttle, slowly increasing.Don't notice anything just punching it. I really hate fucking with needles. If the kid says something, I'll mess with it. Double check that slides are synced.

  16. I did things even simpler than that linc. I got pvc caps that fit boots, no pipe/glue BS. Got rubber caps that fit over ex, some use rubber end caps from stock bumper. First thing to do is test the tester, and around sparkplugs.

  18. Depends on what the pistons measure. Did he check it for out of round or taper?
  19. Start by ohming it. Then clean stator poles, inside of flywheel, and timing nubs. Set pick-up gap to .018" . Then check that ALL connections are clean and tite.Won't hurt to add dielectric grease to them. Check that all grounds are clean &tite, coil mount is bare metal.Ohm coil and plug caps seperate.

  21. IIRC, you can't punch it out while in the case. Get a real strong magnet, attach to punch that fits in, maybe will come out

  23. Do you know for a fact that you have matching cases? What brand bearing are you useing? Chingchong Chewey?
