  1. I use castor 927 32:1 and really like the smell over the yamahalube. I use silkolene medium gear oil in the transmission will be switching to mobil 1.
  2. I am going to lay this out there and probably get told everything that I have read from searching but here it goes. I am going to be racing my bike in a local atv drag racing event and had some questions. The class I am racing in is stock 350cc and under. The class allows engine bolt-ons without race fuel. I am currently running my bike with Trinity IV pipes, Trinity Head IV 19cc swirl cut domes, advance timing and pod filters. My compression is 160ish and I run avgas to be safe. My problem is I cant run the avgas it has to be pump gas. So will my engine be safe running on pump gas for a total for 6 or less 300' runs. I would run it in the next class up but then it jumps to more of an open class and I would get dominated on.
  3. I cant find neutral in any of my shees. I just kill the thing and go from there.
  4. I am not sure how many Nebraska members are on this page, but just wondering if anyone will be attending the Fall Jamboree in Genoa, NE this year. It is a real good time and usually has some pretty good machines come down for the drag races.
  5. I like polished rims on black banshees. Here is a pick of my blue banshee with black rims. I really like your graphics kit.
  6. My first atv was a Polaris Trailblazer (7 years ago) and I remember a company that sold a kit called the Banshee Killer Kit, I wish I could remember what it was. With those mods it would probably beat a Banshee....one that has done and blown up.
  7. That is perfect. Thanks for your help.
  8. I am going to install my Trinity stage IV head and have a couple questions. First does anyone have instructions of where each o-ring goes? Do the domes have to be completely clean of all carbon before install. Thanks for the help.
  9. I was reading on how to clean carbon off aluminum and it said that you can boil it with water and viniger. Has anyone ever tried this and do you think it could warp the domes.
  10. I have the same setup and am running a 310 main with a 25 pilot. The bike runs great.
  11. Maybe a small air leak causing it to keep lean.
  12. I would check your jetting first. I had a bike that had the same problem and I needed to rebuild my carbs. Check into that and see what happens.
  13. It rained at little at night, but was 65 and cloudy in the day. It made the sand really heavy and the Banshee was hooking very well.
  14. Damn good time. I will lbe going there again. I didn't see two many banshee's but it was still a great time.
  15. I am trying to decide what the better pipe is for all around riding and duning. I have the FMF Fatties now and they seem to run well but I also have a set Trinity Stage IV. I dont want to change them and lose power. So what do you all think.
  16. My 2004 Stock Bore Stock Stroke +4 timing FMF fatties PODS 48.49 HP on a dyno jet
  17. Yeah there is a good chance I will pirate parts from this and move them to my 2004. Stuff is a lot cheaper that way.
  18. Good eye the tires are on backwards.

    HP Question

Dynoed today in Aurora, hit 48.49 hp. I was super happy with that.
  20. I ran my 2004 banshee on the dyno today and noticed that it might be running a little lean in the mid range and a little in the top, nothing drastic. However it was only 60 degrees today. I will be riding in OK Little Sahara this weekend and it is supposed to be 20 degrees warmer. Should a leave things where they are and give it shot down there, or should a move my needle to say the 4th clip and see if that fixs the problem.
  21. Just thought I would let you all know there is a group of 25 making the trip to Waynoka, from Nebraska this weekend. Hope to see someone from the board there.
  22. I have a new theory, "What she dont know wont hurt her" I will let you know how that works out for me
  23. Well to make a long story short I bought a stock 2002 raptor 660 for $2000 2 weeks ago. While at the Dyno today I run into a guy wanting to get rid of his banshee and get a raptor for trail riding (his friends talked him into it). So I showed him my raptor and he decides to trade me this. 2002 Banshee -4 mil Stroker -Trinity StageIV pipes -V Force 3 reeds -Pod filters -Chariot Head with 20mm domes -Some type of after market shock (HELP WITH THE BRAND PLEASE) -Front bumper -nerf bars -new front and rear razr tires -renthal bars So I think I came out ok. What do you all think
  24. It was 60 bucks for three pulls. If I wanted him to tune it for me on the dyno it was $150, but since I am addding a head and reeds I figured I would tune it next time. My a/f was between 13 and 14 all across the board.
