So what would be making my pistons do this. They are not cracked it just looks like the top layer is peeling back.

I am thinking of going to a set of CPI inframes for my bike. It is a 2004 with timing plate, trinity pipes, trinitiy head 19cc domes and pod filters. I am running the bike in a stock 350 class and want the best pipe. I am not doing any porting yet but might in the future. Would I see any benifit switching to the CPI pipes?

Looks like a 1996 to me. I am going to be in Marshall, MI on thursday and plan on looking at this Banshee also. I am coming out from Nebraska for a wedding and plan on picking it up if it is still there. It is a good buy if the compression is good and the frame is straight. I would still offer him $1100. You should buy it so I dont have to haul that thing back. :biggrin:

I just installed my new Trinity head and it has a small leak in the front. It appears that the head is leaking between the top and bottom. I didn't really notice a top and bottom piece until the leak started. It is very minor. How will this affect the performance and any ideas why it would be leaking there.

It uses the stock studs, but it uses special acorn bolts that go inside the head. I ordered a set of orings from Trinity 4 weeks ago and they never sent them. They never charged me either. What CC domes to you have?

I would go with a 21cc to keep it safe.

My Banshee is doing the same thing. I am pretty sure it is running lean. If it were me I would bump up the main and hopefully that will help. Did you check your plugs?

I cant get enough Banshee. I freaking love them. I just converted my buddy over from a 2007 SE Raptor 700 to the 1996 Banshee. He rides the Banshee more than the Raptor. He even took it out riding for 4 hour by him self two days ago. Damn it is sweet getting another to love Banshees.

No That is what I paid for the trailer. I paid $3000 for the pair of Banshee's.

I rode a yfz450 in Waynoka a couple weeks ago. I wanted to die, it was the roughest riding atv I have ever been on.

Picked these up as a package deal. The only reason I bought them was how clean they are, I would bet they have less than 30 hours each. They both have the original tool kit in them. This is how I got them. I havent even cleaned them yet. I rode them and they both rip pretty well. That thing next to your right thumb is called the throttle. Hit that and you will be amazed at what will happen to that 400ex. You also have to remember to start your Banshee before you race. That shit was funny

Race with better paddles (Haulers, or Sandstars). I would go with timing at +4, air filters, cool head and a port job. After that you should be stomping them. What pipes do you have

I do remember two modded 400 4x4 running the sand drags at the Genoa Jamboree sometime ago. The bikes were running in 4x4 with paddles all the way around and absolutely screamed....but they were still gay.

That is what I will be looking into. I have a gas station a few blocks away that sells 110 from the pump. :biggrin:
