  5. I purchased a used set of AC pro nerf bars. I kinda feel like an idiot but I cant figure out how they mount up. The bolt holes dont seem to line up with the frame. Here is a picture of the nerfs and the mounts. Any help or pictures would be nice.
  6. Sorry if I got a little pissy earlier, I must have been having a bad day. I ordered the FAST clutch and the easy pull lever.
  7. After Reading the response I think I will go with a fast clutch with HD springs, new clutch cable and Easy pull handle. The reason I asked to have it deleted is because I didn't want this to turn out as a big war and I figured It would be easy to get rid of it then cause problems, but your correct there is usefull info.
  8. I will give FAST a call tomorrow. I am hoping to find something that will handle the HP without making the clutch so darn hard to pull. Thanks for the help and support.
  9. I give up. I am not going to go down this road. MODS please delete the entire post. I will go back to searching everything and not posting. The thing that gets me is that everything posted on this forum has been covered at one point in time. So there should never be a new topics. When a person creats a new topic it is because they are looking for new information. Not everyone was able to post in the previous topics so they didn't get the opinion from everyone. Maybe just maybe someone else has a different type of cluthc that has worked well for them that is not listed. The people who sit at home and wait for someone to post a topic that has been covered just so they can say "try a search, it has been covered" are the real problem with a forum. Just my opinion.
  10. I have owned 10 banshees and still own my grizzly. I am new to building Banshee's and was just curious if there is something new out there that might be better that what is currently being used. Not trying to start anything just asking and learning. I dont have to prove a damn thing to any of you. I really like this website because the amount of knowdelge that I gain from it. It is to bad there are always a couple people that start things. If I wanted stupid comments I would start a post that is titled "A$$holes Post Here" If you dont want to answer the question I have asked then dont. Please dont waste any more of your life posting comments that dont belong.
  11. I am going to be getting my motor back from the builder soon. He is stating that it will make between 67-70hp. I am sure my stock clutch will not hold so I am going ot upgrade. What is the best bang for the buck clutch.
  12. Does anyone have a copy of the torque order on the head. I want to make sure I did it correctly.
  13. I will pull the head and see if it is all jacked up.
  14. The only place that it is loosing coolant is out of the overflow.
  15. I noticed that there is a little build up of dirt and oil around the spark plugs where they go into the head. Would that be consistant with it running lean?
  16. So what your thinking is that it is leaking into the cylinder. I might just mil the head and put it back on. I am sure the bike is running rich.
  17. So my bike was running awsome with the stock head. I thought what the hell lets put on a new head. I put on a Trinity IV head with 19cc domes. Now for some weird reason I am loosing about 16oz of fluid for every 4 hours of riding, NOT GOOD. I noticed that when I am riding hard it will leak out of the overflow. I removed the bottle and it is coming from the overflow hose. Any ideas where to look. It does not leak anywhere externally, only out the hose. Any way to check and see if it is leaking into the cylinders without removing the head.
  18. I am wondering what company is used the most to do engine porting and what everyones opinion is on the work done. If you use someone other than site sponsor please name it and what you think of the porting.
  19. I raced my 2004 Banshee in the local sand drags at the Jamboree. I built mine to race in the stock 350cc to 449cc class. Rules state that you can only have bolt on mods (no engine modification, stock carbs, stock swingarm and no racefuel). There was one other banshee that beat me once but he got called out for having extended swingarm and was running race fuel. The way that bike was running it probably had a port job also. So the Banshee did good and I was happy. There was one other Banshee that had me pretty worried but he broke on the line his first run. My buddy did not feel up to racing his 2006 Raptor 700 in the 500 and up class so I raced it for him. I ended up winning that class also. So very good day for my group.
  20. I did see some KTM running around. I did not see a turbo one. It was a pretty good time.
  21. I dont think that they are as high pitched as a set of Toomeys. They are thicker metal so I think that helps.
  22. Here is what is happening. When I pull the clutch in the pressure plate pulls away and all of the clutch plates move and it seems that it is funtioning normal. However I cant roll the bike when it is in gear even if the clutch is pulled in. Any ideas? I searched over 9 pages and did not find an answer to my question.
  23. I am selling a set of Trininty Stage IV Pipes and Silencers. The pipes are in great shape. Pic will be up in the morning. I am not sure what they are worth so I will take offers. They are located in Nebraska. I am also willing to trade for a nice set of Chrome Toomey T5's or a set of CPI. If it is a CPI pipe I will come up with some cash.
