i cant get new plugs till tomorrow, but i looked at both plugs and i couldnt see any visible water, smelled like gas, there may have been a musty smell though im not sure haha, if i did get water in, what do i do ?

hello, i fell off the shee and she went in SALT WATER, the water was up to where the headers meet the cylinder... i got her out, she started first kick, drove her home, she felt ok...but a lil different, i let her idle and she would sputter but still idle...got her home washed her off with the hose, LIKE THE IDIOT I AM I LEFT THE LID OFF, and i got the air filter wet.... NOW SHE WONT START AT ALL, NOT A GIG!! not even a little bit does she want to start, i tried to jump start her and she made a weird sound rolled over but wouldnt start, sounded liek she was struggling for life.....i feel like dying, i love my bike, i hope she is alright? any thoughts?

hello, i have compression of 90 on both cylinders, right now she is weak down low and excellent in the mid - high revs, what will the power gains be with a new top end? does being down in compression mean im loosing power?

my clymers manual says that the 80\s banshees are 10 pounds lighter than the new ones

hello, my compression was 90 on both cylinders about a month ago, havent checked in a while...but im thining about a top end, i want to do it myself, is there a good site that has instructions and diagrams? ive never changed a top end...what tools will i need? thanks

ahha yes, ill admit that i love the sound of her now, with out the packing!!!! and im willing to believe that it may just be this increased sound that has gotten my heart pumping faster and my brain believeing more power!!! hah BUT she certainly doesn't feel less powerful, i guess that the power drop if any isn't very significant... what if there was just a straight pipe comming from the headers? what would that do?

well it feels like she hasnt lost any power!! im usually riding her fast and hard and she seemed like she was a lil more powerful...i dont care for bottom end power, i like to have her screaming aahha.....i figure that it would make her run leaner, as there is less restriction...

hey guys, i just ordered new packing but didnt put it on yet because i wanted to try her without any packing....shes loud hahah...but does it give more power? less resistance perhaps?

i cant hear the sound when im going fast, only around 1/4 - half throttle, when im just crusing.....and she isnt hesistating, perhaps a slight bog, i cant get to ride her today its rainning out, but tomorrow ill see if ican get some more info... when shes cold there is alot of bogging and hesitating but once warmed up shes smooth, throttle is crisp.

im not sure where its comming from, sounds like if you tapped your finger on the lid of a plastic bucket

hello, there is a poping sound comming from the shee around 1/4 throttle, seem to hear it when im just crusing.... im sure im running rich on my pilots, i have 30\s and 290 mains, sea level, fmf sst pipes, vf3, no lid, bike is running excellent, sound isnt overly loud, just dont want to be hurting my baby ahha.. thanks

hello, i am going to have pods on soon as they get here......looking at the underside of the air box and intakes, there is a lot of lube from the chain being flicked up on all over there.....sooo, when i get the pods on there, this lube will be flicked all over my pods....whats the deal that going to be ok? ahah am i going to have to stop lubricating my chain lol?

hello, i am thinking about ordering some dominator amsoil synthetic , i have been using amsoil interceptor...anyways says its recommended for high octane ( im running 91) and for exhaust power valves?? not sure what that is, but is it all good to run with my shee? also i was going to order belray gearsaver motorcycle 80w transmission oil, i have to get an oil that is for wet clutches right? this stuff says its for, seperately lubricated motorcycle clutches..so is that a wet clutch? thanks yous verys muchesssss

whats up aahha i just wanted to say thanks for everyone envolved with this site... it has helped me out alot since i got my shee!!! and i want to say that that nothing gets my blood flowing more than some idiot telling me that a 4 stroker is gonna smoke me!!! fugggggggg that shit man!!! 4 strokes is for the tame, 2 strokes for the insane!!!!!!!!!!!!! rev it up , pop it out!!! let emmm spinn and hold on!!!! ahhah woooooahhahah

im running 15 40, i think shes good for around 85 - 90 mph and still hauls like a mo fo

hello, i can get any racing fuel, the most ocatane i can get in gas is 91...is there any point on getting a cool head or any kind of head?

ive used dish detergent and it works great!!, just let it soak in a bucket of warm water with dish detergent and then scrubbed with a tooth brush, it works just as well....no sure if its damaging the filter or not though so ahha do what u wanna...but i havent had anyproblems with mine..

hello, i got sst pipes, pods, vf3, so far i have gotten bigger main jets and pilots but havent moved or changed the needle any... bike is running well but i would like to move the needle so its running richer, just incase shes lean? this sound right? wouldnt she be running lean on a stock needle with those mods? thanks oh yah and which way do i move the needle to make her richer or leaner? thanks again!

im sorry for my stupidity, but whats the filler cap? is that just where u check to see the level of oil? I ride everyday about 2 hours or more? but it is defintly gear oil and not motor oil ?? because some ppl have been telling me motor oil? thank you

hello , i was wondering what is the best system of air filters, im guessing no air box with clamp on filters? is there a difference in "pods" or are clamp on filters the same thing? what is the power increases ? ive read up to 12% more hp with clamp ons?

well we should be racing on pavement, i got sst pipes, vf3, k and n clamp on filters my gearing is tall though, 15 - 40, but ive heard that the 800's top out at like 130 km/h so i will get him on top end for sure
