hello, im new to flat trac, ive just taken off all my shocks and replaced them with steel rods...its nice bit lighter, way lower, 8 inch from ground in front and 3 in rear. this prob would be best for drag only maybe, but im gonna try it on the track, its pretty smooth there... so far she handles on a dime and seems faster i im gonna try stiff rear and put my shocks back on try that tomorrow...any thoughts?

hello, i was thinking about getting a lowering kit front and rear....how are they? whats a good one?

ive been running 91 since the shee has been born, only mods are rev box pods, sst headers and wiseco top end , n vf3 reeds, have been runnig this combo for a year now, only this past month ive noticed the leaking

hello, the shee is leaking a bit of fuel out round both spark plugs, ill be it not alot, but enough to raise a eyebrow....if fuel can leak out, cant air? or im getting at possible loss of compression? i havent re jetted my bike since the winter so im sure shes running rich, would this be the problem? she runs fine when warmed up, but some hesitation and bogging down low when cold. thanks oh ive tightned up the spark plugs, so not that, maybe ive stripped out the head??

How wide will my bike be with the 2" or with the 3"?

I forgot 2 mention that the 3" kit came with long travel shocks, 2" more travel

Hello, old comp was 75 80 , got her bored .20 over weisco pro lites, 2 months after rebuild comp 90 onboth. She runs excellent, y low comp?

i just flipped my rims over front and back, i gained 3.5 inches in the back and 4 up front, anyone else ever do this, or have any problems? i had to drill a hole and put a new valve in the fronts so the valve would clear the brakes.

i have 20 over, fmf sst and powercore 2 , vf3, with lid off.....now am going to go with clamp ons, is there a gain, what happens?

hello, i was wondering if it is necessary to replace the seals on a rebuild, mines an 04, just got her bored 20 over... what will be the effect of not putting new ones in ? i have never done a primary comp test..

anythoughts?

just wondering if there has to be a specail type of material for reed gaskets, i have vf3, i made some out of a soft gasket materail i got but it seemed to be leaking alot?

so id like to order a top end tomorrow, what bore should i order, mine is std now....or will i have to measure the cylinder bore and go from there?

i just top end comp tested her and ran her...actually i had her put together for only 4 days when this happend...she was going mint!!! i still cant kick her over any, so i guess shes nice and seized...

hello, just got her honed and new rings put in, it was my first rebuild, and she was running excellent for a week, then lastnight, i took her out and didnt have her warmed up good enough and ran her 6th gear pinned for a minute or so, when i can to almost a complete stop the engine made a weird sound and shut off...she wont kick over the kick starter is solid.....im an idiot, anyways what kinda damage could be done? i guess ill scrap her and get her bored out and try it again....

sorry man, not totally fresh engine, i re used my pistons, which are 5 years old, but they looked mint, just got the cylinders honed and put in new rings reeds and head are good man, no leaks

hello, i was in a rush so i just put a set of rings on the bitch...comp was way down at 85 & 83 and now still holds the same, the bike feels like shes hauling harder but no gain in comp??? shes a 04 first time she was apart, i guess i must need to get her bored out and some new pistons, i think the rubber coolant plugs were leaking a little bit, but i never changed them...
