  1. I've gotten OEM Yamaha parts from www.bikebandit.com, There's probably a few people on here that can stick one in an envelope for ya.
  2. Spindles, hubs, and tie-rods still for sale. All in good shape. Make offer.
  3. Personally I've never seen an "old" set of Rockets. The silencer design was the only thing I was aware of that changed. Everyone says quality went down, but the only issue I have seen is the weld on the mounting bracket for the silencer breaking occasionally. I would really like to have a set of rockets, but there's no way I would spend $600 + bucks for pipes because you cant find them used and cpis are too close in comparison and you can find a nice used set for $350 - $400
  4. Camping is half the fun. We were down there this same weekend last year and weather was great, Can only hope for the same.
  5. ha ha, ya it took me a couple tries to make it work.
  6. I would measure it out and see what you can go. If you can pull off the +3's and not be wider than the rear I would go that way. I have 20x11x10 tires on the rear and I could have gone +3 and been right at the same with as the rear. Not going to matter if the front end squeezes through if the rear wont.
  7. Green should be your low, Yellow your high, and blacks your ground. I would say you should have connected the yellow and black.
  8. Have you had someone moving the swing arm around while your smacking the bolt? What I've seen is a groove get worn and catches. Sometimes moving the suspension while hitting the bolt will get it past that point.
  9. I'm there for sure!! Plan on staying at south campground.
  10. Heck ya, I'll be down that weekend as well. Can't wait, been too long.
  11. Pipes sold. Thanks Infamous - Will be heading your way 1st thing in the morning. Paddles still for sale.
  12. Few more pics. Next 2 pics are of inside of pipes.
  13. I have a really nice set of 20x10x10 8 paddle haulers on Douglas black label wheels and chrome valve stems. Bought these new from RMATV last March. They have 2 dune trips on them. I also have a set of T5's for sale. The mid pipes and silencers are in great shape, silencers have been recently re-packed. The head pipes only have 1 visible blemish when installed from a leg burn. The insides have some blemishes, and a couple dings. Also towards the exhaust flange the pipes have some scratched, where iIcan only assume the previous owner took too abrasive of steel wool to try to clean them up. I took quite a few pictures, but as I stated above, most of the minor flaws in these pipes are not visible when installed. Paddles:$265.00 shipped Pipes: $235.00 shipped
  14. Shocks Sold. Make me an offer on the remaining items, spindles, hubs, tie rods, and shock covers. Stuff does me no good sitting on the shelf.
  15. I run a Cascade clutch, works great. A buddy has a FAST clutch that's been beat on hard and keeps going strong.
  16. Shouldn't have to touch the pilot, probably looking at 280 on the main, maybe a 290 with the cold weather. This will get you close enough to fine tune on your own.
  17. thats about all the luck i had with a mallet and dead blow hammer, I had to step up to a 3lb hammer.
  18. Mine were a complete bitch too. I had to take the pipes off, just so i could get a good enough swing at it and hit it a little more squarely. Once i got it flush i used a punch. It did f up the end of the bolt, but i just took the end to the grinder to put a small taper on it, then used a file to clean the rest of the thread up. Good times!! I think it took longer to take those 2 bolts out then to remove and re-install everything else.
  19. hi temp powder is definitely the way to go, but the VHT flame proof paint you get at O'Reilly's for 9 bucks a can works pretty good for the rattle can approach.
  20. I don't have too, its just routine. I'm keeping my eye out for a set, but as rare as they are, I'm sure I'll have to buy new.
  21. it is brutal though, doesn't mean it doesn't crack my shit up, did it eat your last one? lol Have to agree with your other thread, when my buddy and me line up with damn near identical bikes, him with rockets and myself with T5's, they seem to come on about the same time, but the rockets def. pull harder and longer. Got some bad ass pics there too savage
