Get someone to test the actual compression. Judging by what is or isn't coming out of the tail pipe won't answer anything for you. There are many things that can cause hesitation. Just gotta start narrowing them down. First thing to start with is the last thing you did to the quad. Alot of times one thing gets changed by another seemingly unrelated event.

Maybe some of you guys are confused... this carb claims to be a 32 AND a 40 and everything in between. I guess because the opening is tapered to me narrow at the bottom, they call it a 32-40mm carb. Sounds like the perfect carb for me but not for $400 and deff not fir the $600 they want new

That is an absolute scream I'm going to send it to everyone in the office. The clues don't really help much though. You really need to have the volume up and look very closely. It took me about 2 minutes of really close looking before I got the first major clue. Then the rest of it just kinda allcomes out after that. Not nearly as hard as that other thing that everyone was doing a few days ago.

I wouldn't use oxy-acet torches. May overheat and ruin the temper of the axle. If it was me, I'd chisel it off by grinding a notch in it and hammering it off. They are not reverse thread.
