Oh man, so basicaly you need new cases, topend and crank...I wonder what else.
The ricky stator deal is a good upgrade, you could go with a longrod crank and matching pistons and that would add some reliability, but not as much power as getting the stroker and cutting the head to match.
Sounds like it needs some TLC.
If you look around you can find some deals for sure. I will likely be selling my 12-port cylinders (if I don't trade them in) stock crank this summer. I'm hoping to at least get what the porting for the cylinders cost. Nothing wrong with them, just addicted to horsepower.
