  1. Don't change the shocks unless your going to upgrade to something better. Just get outerwears for them... I would tear into the carbs and clean them out and check the jetting size. At sea level I ran 320's jets with my FMF fattys and was slightly rich, but never fowled a plug. Powercore II is simply the name of the silencer the pipes look like Fattys to me. It will probably take some more mods to beat that raptor but the Banshee has alot of potential.

  5. To the Thread Starter,are you sure the left pipe is clearing the head? How do you like the way the silencers bolt up in the rear? is there any dampening like other pipes? The Chrome really does suck from what I have sceen. The "show" chrome is not that great either. For me getting them bare and adding chrome adds about $300 to the cost > $700.
  6. How bad is the banshee that fell off the trailer. Just need a new frame or what? Sounds like a good time to invest on a trailer with a gate on the back.
  7. Yea if you get an extended arm and some 8 paddle extremes you would be set You will get a little les hookup with a +2, and even a little more less with a +4, that depends how you want to setup your banshee though.
  8. I like mine makes top offs easier, just zip tie it under the nose of the bike, it works better there anyways. Stan (Cotton Eye Joe) also sells a relocator bracket that will keep it there.   9. Those Cases look real good, makes me want to do mine black as well! last time I cleaned mine with nitro blast for RC cars, that shit works great.

  11. ellison445, if you don't mind getting a much larger amp for a single sub get the new RE XXX Hands down. And hope it does not shatter your windows.. BB said you had deep pockets and if you have the space for a 12 XXX.... $$$$$$$$$$$ I'd personaly rather have a cub motor heh. You could also pickup an old XXX for alot less, it will still knock the crap out of a W7 in SQ and SPL.

  15. I would try 9 paddle extremes or 8 paddle extremes, depending on who you talk to. Personaly I would probably try 9 paddle extremes. for a drag/dune setup. It does depend what your goal is.
  16. Hell no, even with a ported stroker 10 paddle haulers are a bit much for dune riding. I would get 8 paddle Non Extremes for a non-ported banshee with just pipes. Just cause they are lighter does not mean you need more paddles. Banshees work off wheel spin as they make their power at high RPM's If you overpaddle the banshee it will be harder to hit those upper RPM's.
  17. to check impeller you should drain coolant. but your still probably goin to spill some. Last time I had the clutch cover off and check it after I drained coolant it spilled inside the clutch area and I had to clean it all out. I did drain it first though heh.

Disconnect Parking Brake, new clutch lever, Disconnect Tors (removal is extra) Air filter is definately first Unless you don't mind blowing up your bike on the first trip, or taking your chances. Too many people have problems and destroy their motors to skimp on cash there. A friend of mine wasted his motor on the first trip on a brand new banshee when the filter slightly came off and he sucked in a large grain of sand. #3 is pretty big, but hey you didn't give us prices.
  19. Oh man, so basicaly you need new cases, topend and crank...I wonder what else. The ricky stator deal is a good upgrade, you could go with a longrod crank and matching pistons and that would add some reliability, but not as much power as getting the stroker and cutting the head to match. Sounds like it needs some TLC. If you look around you can find some deals for sure. I will likely be selling my 12-port cylinders (if I don't trade them in) stock crank this summer. I'm hoping to at least get what the porting for the cylinders cost. Nothing wrong with them, just addicted to horsepower.
